The new Susan Weckesser stamp "Hello Winter" is just the sweetest! Somehow it reminded me of red riding hood -- so I gave her a red cape, which I colored her in with my Copic markers.

Then I used the Mister Huey Studio Calico's bubble stencil and inked it with some Versamagic chalk ink in Sea Breeze. I also added some small bling to the snowflakes.

For this Christmas card, I colored in the candles Shiny Holidays with my Copic markers, and then did some border embossing. First, I inked the top and bottom of my card with Tim Holtz distress ink in Shaded Lilac -- then I embossed it! This creates more depth and makes the pattern more outstanding. The same can be achieved by embossing on colored cardstock :)

So, recently I just bought this beautiful Kuretake Gansai Tambi "Starry Colors" watercolors. It's all mostly gold paints and oooo, they are so smooth to paint just like butter! 

I stamped and colored my beautiful Christmas stamp "You are strong enough" and then painted in the background with the watercolors. It is so shiny!!

Next, I made this shaker card using ONLY basic supplies! Meaning NO die cuts or tools needed :)

The beautiful stamp is from the "Open to the light" kit and the sentiment  and the November sentiment kit "I want you to know".

So Angie Blom has a brand new Angie Girl --  Valentina Girl, which is just so beautiful don't you think? I colored her with my Copic markers then on with the distressing!

For the background, I have used Tim Holtz tissue papers and distress ink in Vintage photo -- to give it a vintage distressed look :)

I am up on the SVG Attic blog, sharing a birthday project I made.

Here's the banner card I made using the JGW Take the Cake kit.

, that I layered with a few different papers and also added some balloons from the Sweet Stamp Shop "Let's Flamingle".

I also added some Gold Gliter to give it some extra bling!

  

And what's a birthday without a cake? :)

I made the birthday cake box (just a single slice) and added some frostings using Prima's snowflake paste. Then before it dried, I stucked the two strawberries I made using the JGW Spring Swag kit and added some glitter confetti.

For my first card, it's a holiday Christmas card using the Operation Snowball Brentwood stamp.

I gave him an "ugly" elf sweater along with a reindeer head gear, along with some cute snowballs at his side. Then I stamped the sentiment and embossed it with some gold embossing powder. The beautiful papers I used is from DCWV along with some Freckled Fawn enamel dots.

Don't you think Brentwood is just so cute?

Now, it's time to go to fantasy fairyland with the Once upon a Fairytale Brentwood stamp.

I colored her with soft pastel colors using my Copic markers then cut out the leaves for her to sit on :) I am loving the cute swirls and stars that come along with this set. I also added some Stickles glitter for the borders.

I added some Viva Decor modellier creme {metallic gold} using the Heidi Swapp mini stencils to add a pop of color and interest on the tags :)

I stamped and watercolored the new stamp by Phyllis Harris "Magical as snow" and with snow falling down --- it will make it truly magical! :)

I colored it with my Copics and then added some easy snowflakes using a Tombow dual brush marker pen and some Stickles glitter.  Easy peezy! :)

I did the glittery gold borders only with a Versamark ink and Ranger Ancient Gold {African Gold} embossing powder!

Just inked your card directly with the embossing ink and just pour on the glitter!!

WOO HOO!

Easy peezy :)

Life don't need to be too overly complicated at times right? Same goes with cards :)

So for this card, I used the same stamp to create a background paper using some Versafine inks. The tip here is to choose lighter colors than your "main" bird so that it will stand out more. I colored the "main" bird with some Copic markers and stamped the sentiment also with Versafine ink.

Hope you like this quick little technique and do try it out for yourself!

It's Inspiration Time over at The Cutting Cafe Blog and the Design Team is working on Gable Boxes this week.

Seriously, this box is like SO SO cool! 

1. It is so easy to make them

2. It looks pretty and make your gifts look prettier

3. You don't have to spend a ton of money buying boxes

4. You can decorate them however you want

5. You get to impress your relatives and friends (haha!)

So, here is my holiday version for my Gable Box. I used all DCWV papers here and even die cut those cute little Christmas trees to decorate the front of the box. I also added some Trendy Twine for the pretty bow.

Imagine the possibilities of just having fun and making customized boxes for your loved ones!

For my first card, I am trying something different with White embossing and ink.

I stamped the beautiful snowflake from the Magical Days kit on vellum and did some white embossing. Then I also used the same stamp for my background.

Here's an upclose of my handwritten sentiment stamp! :)

For my next card, I did some gold embossing and Gansai Tambi watercolors.

I embossed the Christmas tree from the Spruce up the Season kit and it will react as a resist when I paint over it with my watercolors.
