It's GEARS and Birthday...

Happy birthday to my Big Brother. He celebrated his birthday few weeks back and I made this manly card for him :)

I've used the Gears Set embossing texture fade folder by Tim Holtz and distressed it with some distress inks. Don't you just LOVE those gears?

The sentiment is from Unity Stamp "Party All Day" kit.

And since I had a special request from Rebecca on how I made this card, here's a quick tutorial! :)
Hope this helps.

If you like the video, don't forget to SUBSCRIBE and give a THUMBS UP! :)

Today I made a card that reminded me of my childhood days - where you cut pieces of papers and made a mosaic tile collage?

Well, here it is! :) After patiently adhering each piece one by one :)

Pieces of patterned paper (I used my scrap papers) cut into triangles and randomly adhered down :)

I've also stamped the sentiment from this month's KOM 07/14 "Beautiful inside out" and colored with my Copics.

Want to know how to make this?
I have a step-by-step for you HERE at Scrap-n-Crop's blog.

Have fun!

Happy birthday to you.. Happy birthday to you!

How fun to give this colorful rainbow card to somebody and make their day, right?

Well, you can make one of your own too, because I have a step-by-step tutorial on how to make this card. :) Click HERE for the tutorial.

Here, I am using the "Watercolor distress block stamping technique" and the cute rainbow stamp is by Unity Stamp "Sending happy your way". I've put some purple vellum as the background and handwritten the "Happy Birthday" all around the image.

Have a colorful weekend ahead! :)

For today's post at Scrap-n-Crop.com HERE, I made a very fun coloring book for my niece, who's birthday is this weekend! She's into all things scrappy (and I'm elated that she is), so I made her a customized coloring book (along with a BIG bag of scrappy goodies!).

I used lots and lots of Unity Stamps for her to color in and Unity does have some very cute stamps! Perfect for kids :)

So, get your stamps out and start stamping!

Scrap-n-Crop.com has their own card kits and I've made this floral vintage card from it. The kit is filled with lots of goodies and you can go very creative with it :)

The first thing that captured my eye is this floral image from the Kaisercraft stamp set.

I colored the image in with Distress Markers for that soft watercolor effect.

Today I had the privilege to play with the Prima Paintables. You can get these at Scrap-n-Crop.com.  On their blog today, I am sharing a tutorial on how to turn these plain (but still pretty) Vintage sheets into beautifully colored sheets with two techniques! :)

My first technique is painting with a tinted gel medium mixture (using Golden's soft gel medium) which will create some texture and gloss.

Here's the close up.

And the second technique is painting with Distress Paints - creating a watercolor look.

And here's the close up.

When I bought the WRMK Envelope Punch Board, I thought it can only make envelopes. Oh boy, was I wrong. I made this Envelope Pocket Tag Mini Album for my Tips & Techniques post on Scrap-n-Crop.com's blog today.

Yups, can you believe that I made this with the WRMK Envelope Punch Board? Here's a close up.

They are actually envelopes with pockets, holding the tags in it. Simple and easy!

Here are how the insides look like.

For the step-by-step tutorial on how to make this mini album, click HERE.

With the Envelope Punch Board, I also made these!!

Want a tutorial on these? Leave a comment and I may just do one if the majority of you are requesting for it :)
