My dog of 10 years recently left us and to remember her, and all the good times she had given us .. I made a mini album just for her.

I wanted to make a fun little album because she's such a happy dog. So I chose happy colorful papers.I made a trifold mini album using only 2 pieces of cardstock and even handcut the chipboard letters on the cover. In case you're wondering why it's black, that's coz she had black fur :) So here it is!

After you open up the front cover, you get this.

And open it further, you get the trifold!

Bambi, my dog. She will always be remembered in our hearts. <3.

Supplies used: Paper (MME Bella Bella & Simply Delightful/Fancy Pants Designs),  Distress Ink (Purmice Stone), Stamps (Unity)

I seem to be on a roll eh? :)

Today I've attended a scrappy class, again bought from another discount site. And it was absolutely time crunching but fun! The end result, I am so happy with it. A butterfly shaped mini album, on my recent trip.

This album is fully embellished (photos are placed in the white spots). I can't really tell what supplies I used, but the paper was 7Gypsies and Basic Grey. Lots of pearls, ribbons, flowers, chipboards, stickers ... a pure haven when you get so many items to use. The paper is just so gorgeous, don't you think?

Here's a glimpse of a few pages, front and back too!

This is again, totally inspired by Laura Denison. I was trying to get a different kind of mini album ... and this is a rather simple, but tedious mini to do. Lots of measuring and cutting. But the final effect is rather cool, I must say :)

Using only 2 pieces of cardstock/patterned paper, the "base" is created. The covers are cut out of chipboard and tags made out of cardstock.

Check my mini out, keeping it quite simple this time ;)

This is my first mini album! :)

I've only recently started scrapbooking and I'm already addicted to it! It all started with buying a scrapbook kit from a discount site. And for all I know, soon I was buying so much stuff, watching countless YouTube videos and reading lots of craft magazines. It is a fun new hobby for me - being able to explore new things and preserve those oh-so-precious memories in a little book.

So, being my first and feeling very inspired by Laura Denison, I did an envelope mini. I was caught by surprise when I managed to produce a decent looking mini album - being a noob in this.

Using 6 envelopes (can be new/old), trim each ends to create the pockets. Cut out chipboard to be covers. Then add flaps, patterned paper, tags & embelishments... and it's done!

Here's a peek into my Birthday Mini Album.

And here are some of the tags I made with some stamping and distress inks

Overall I kept it pretty simple and after adding the photos and journalling, I added more embellishments.

Many more to come! :)
