Now onto my Christmas Winter card! :)

I recently got my happy mail from Newton Nook Designs. It is my first time ordering from them (what took me so long?!) and I had to get this brand new Cup of Cocoa stamp set. Newton on the mug is just way cute and that snowman... oh my!

So I stamped out every mug in the set and colored them with my Copic markers. I couldn't decide on which to use, so I used all of them! :) The Christmas papers are from Kaisercraft.

 Then, it's time to arrange everything on my card and add some pretty Kat Scrappiness Retro Christmas sequin mix.

Before the week comes to and end, I made some NEW VIDEOS using Unity Stamp's pre-season NEW releases: Winter and Fall stamps. It's never too early for seasonal cards, so best to start early!

For my first card, I made a snowglobe card using the Wintertime Friends stamp. If you don't have a snowglobe die, no worries! Just use a circle die and slice off the bottom :) I embossed the snowglobe with Sizzix Tim Holtz textured fades embossing folder to create like a snowy background. Then I added some Prima Marketing Snowflake Paste for the snow. This paste is so shimmery and really does look like snow when it is dried!

For my next card, I used the other snowman from the Wintertime Friends. I stamped and die cut the stamps using a postage stamp die. Then I colored it with Copics and it is time to glitter it up! I love love LOVE my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen -- just the perfect touch to add some shimmery goodness without the bulk of the glitter.  You got to watch the video to see it in action!

And for my last card for today, I used the Full of Fall stamp set and die cut the cardstock using Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fancy Scalloped Rectangle dies. Don't you think the leave is so so pretty?

Then I inked up the entire background using Tim Holtz distress oxide inks [Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade] then did some gold drops using Ken Oliver's liquid metals [Yellow Gold]. Love how shiny it turned out!

I got the plastic bags with adhesive (you can google these to find out what I am talking about) or you can make your own pockets (or cheat and just take a Project Life pocket!). Just put the card inside, fill it with glitter (or sugar dust in this case) and sequins --- and you're done!!

These would be so much fun to give somebody for Christmas -- just like a flattened version of a snow globe! Haha.

Can you believe that almost half a year has just gone by? *phew*

I'm up on the SVG Attic blog and I'm here to share a baby mini album I made for my friend, Michelle, who is pregnant with twins. Yup, twins! :)

And with the album, I made this pretty box to gift it to her too.

I used the pie box from Holly's Holiday Gift Boxes. I love this box because you can see through it and it's a nice size for the album. 

To decorate the box, I took the pieces from the mobile centerpiece (Baby Boy & Baby Girl kit) and glittered them up before I strung them with some twine.

For the sides of the box, I used this cute critters washi tape :)

And here's the baby album I made -- which is 6"x6" in size.

I used lots of papers from Crate Paper, Kaisercraft, Pebbles, Elle's Studio, Simple Stories, Fancy Pants and Heidi Swapp.

I also made a simple tag-card with some Sweet Stamp Shop boy/girl stamps :)

The stamp is by Phyllis Harris called "Face the sunshine". I backed the card with some Amy Tangerine paper from her Stitched collection and the twine is by Trend Twine in "Krazy for Kraft".
