Ho ho ho!
It's just a few days away from Christmas. I am up on Kat Scrappiness blog today, sharing a Christmas card I made using some fun foilable products and Newton's Nook Designs stamps.

I first created the background using Pattern Paper Pack 1 - FOILables - Toner Graphics by Creative Vision S and Thermoweb Decofoil [Lapis Watercolor], by running it through my Heidi Swapp Minc Machine. It's so fun to just have ready-patterns, foil and you're done!

Then I created a snow slope using the Fancy Scalloped Stitched Border Dies by Kat Scrappiness then I arranged the cute Santa in his train with his friends from the Newton's Nook Designs [All Aboard for Christmas]; which I have colored in with my Copic markers.

"Choo choo!" All aboard the fun Christmas train :)

Hey scrappy friends! :)

Thank you so much for visiting my blog on todays 1st Celebration Blog hop for Kat Scrappiness. Today is so exciting! Not only will you be inspired by the designers' projects along this hop, there is a lot of fantastic prizes to be won! You should have arrived here from Mona's Blog. You will find the full link up list at the end of this post or on Kat Scrappiness Blog

We are so excited to announce the addition of our first ever exclusive clear stamp sets! One that is perfect for interactive papercraft designs and one that is an adorable Giraffe. You will also catch a glimpse of some brand new dies and sequin embellishment mixes that are also exclusives. Check out all of the exclusive products at Kat's store.

I made a simple shaker card using Lola the Giraffe and lots of fun elements from Kat's store, so here is the step-by-step on how I did it.

ScrappyScrappy: Kat Scrappiness Blog Hop #scrappyscrappy #katscrappiness #bloghop #copic #lolathegiraffe #foilables #heidiswapp #minc #thermoweb #decofoil #shakercard #card #cardmaking #papercraft #diycraft #scrapbook #craft #stamp #stamping #sequin #glitter #giraffe #foil #interactivecard

I first foiled the patterned paper from the FOILables - Toner Graphics with Thermoweb Decofoil (rainbow) using my Heidi Swapp Minc machine. It turned out so pretty, don't you think?

Then it's time to create the window for my shaker card. I die cut the rectangle frame using Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Rectangle die; which I then carefully cut into size. I also cut a piece of acetate the same size and adhered it to the frame. I then put a border of foam adhesive around the whole patterned paper -- thin enough to hide behind the frame.

Then here's the FUN part --- Fill it up with lots and lots of pretty Kat Scrappiness sequins! I am using Neon Barbie, Neon Summer and Sun-Kissed. I also adhered some sequins to the foiled patterned paper, so that even when you don't shake the card, pretty sequins will be "floating" :) Once you're satisfied filling up the sequins, adhere the frame/acetate to the foam border to seal it up.

Finally, all you need to do it to decorate the front of the card. I stamped Lola the Giraffe with Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink and colored her with my Copic markers, then fussy cut her and popped her up on the heart I die cut using Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Heart die. I also die cut the "Hello" Brush Script word with some gold foam glitter. I wanted to add the "Let's hang out" sentiment, so I die cut a part of the Kat Scrappiness Sign Post die set then stamped the sentiment on it, which fit perfectly! I adhered everything down using Ranger Glossy Accents.

Happy weekend!

I am over at Kat Scrappiness Blog -- sharing a card I made using my very own sentiment -- my handwritten sentiment, that is! :) Were there times that when you were making a card and there just isn't a sentiment that is good enough?

So, here is a card I made using my own handwriting and my nifty Heidi Swapp Minc Toner Pen.

ScrappyScrappy: Customized Foil Card with Kat Scrappiness #scrappyscrappy #katscrappiness #ginamariedesigns #heidiswapp #minctonerpen #mincfoil #thermoweb #decofoil #summerrainbow #shimelle #foil #foiling #nuvodrops #tonicstudios #hellodarling #diecut #card #cardmaking #papercraft

I first cut the piece of patterned paper using my Gina Marie Designs - Wonky Stitches Nesting Die then I wrote the "HELLO" with my Heidi Swapp Minc Toner Pen. I let it dry a bit, put some Thermoweb Decofoil Summer Rainbow over it, then I ran it through my Heidi Swapp Mini Minc machine and just wait for the magic to happen! :) The end results is just beautiful!

Then I cut out another bigger piece of patterned paper using Gina Marie Designs - Scalloped Stitched Nested Rectangle Die and  added some Sweet Lilac Nuvo Crystal Drops around the whole sentiment.

Hope you enjoyed this quick tip on how to create your very own customised greeting card. Looking forward to seeing your creations!
