For my first card, I used the new Margaret Girl. She is so beautiful, don't you think? I colored her with my Copic markers and put on lots of Wink of Stella clear glitter to bling up her dress. Then, it's time to glitter up the background as well. You know how parties have photobooths these days with glittery backdrops and streamers? So, that was what I was trying to create here :)

Once I'm done coloring, it's time to pop the card! I used MFT Stamps Peekaboo window die to create the peekaboo, but instead of creating a peekaboo, I popped the girl up!

Continuing on with the birthday celebrations, this new "Blissful Birthday" stamp is just perfect for a party card! I colored it with Copic markers and then foiled the card with some Nuvo Gilding Flakes. It can be messy but it really is fun to use. Turned out really shiny and pretty too!

For my next card, I used this new stamp "You are Forever Beautiful" and stamped it on watercolor cardstock. I grabbed only 3 Tim Holtz Distress inks to paint this in. You don't need many colors, and if you have limited budget, you could just grab 3 primary colors (red,yellow,blue) to mix new colors together. Just smoosh the inks on your craft mat, add some water and paint away!

For my next card, I LOVE this new "Focus on the Things" stamp - it is SO pretty coz I love vintage cameras! I colored it with Prismacolor colored pencils and then die cut it with Kat Scrappiness cross stitched rectangle die.

Then, it's time to create the rainbow border around the card --- with an old makeup brush! :) Yups!! Many of us struggle with ink blending, creating this effortless-no harsh lines blend but it is difficult. So, I tried it with my old makeup brush and it worked! No harsh lines and easy to blend too with my  Tim Holtz distress oxide inks.

And for my final card, I used the background stamp "Obssessed with Floral". This stamp is perfect to make a quick card if you can't think of any designs for your card. But you can also use it differently, as what I did here. I painted the entire piece in with my Adornit watercolors and split it into 3 panels. The sentiment is from MFT Stamps "Sending Hugs" die cut; which I cut with some holographic cardstock.

For my first card, I am using the new Cuddlebug Seahorse. Seriously, how amazing is this beautiful creature? I had to color it with all the fun and bright Copic colors and then added a coat of clear glitter using my Wink of Stella. Coz hey, why not? :)

For the background, I also wanted it to be fun and bright so I used Ken Oliver's Color Burst [Carribean brights]. Just sprinkle, spritz and dab! It is that easy!

For my next card, I wanted to make a fun background for my Cuddlebug Teddybear so I grabbed an oldie but goodie Unity stamp set "Alphabetically Adorable" and stamped it with some Altenew Crisp Dye Inks. It's a fun way to use up your alphabet stamps and create your very own customized background.

Is it snowing where you are now? Well, I've thought of you winter folks when I saw this Cuddlebug Penguin. I just had to make it snow! :) I used Prima Marketing Snowflake Paste and adhered Kat Scrappiness sequins to it. The leaves and snowflakes needed an extra hold so I used Thermoweb Mixed Media adhesive.

And for my friends Down Under, you will LOVE this new Cuddlebug Platypus. How super CUTE right? I created a fun background for this card using some stamps from "Better with Friends" and "Another Name for Love" kits and added some Decofoil rainbow foil using Decofoil Transfer Gel. Imagine all the possibilities with your stamps!!

And finally, this Cuddlebug butterfly is a must-have! Seriously, how can you resist this beautiful butterfly? :) I had to give it some rainbow colors using my Sakura Koi brush marker pens.

 For the background, I used my Dear Lizzy Serendipity stencil and did some embossing. YES!! You can emboss with your stencils! This is my first time trying out this technique and it was so fun. I think it turned out awesome, don't you think? Here I am using Ranger Ancient Gold "African Gold" embossing powder. Love the glitter!

For my first card, I am using the new Cuddlebug Dragon. I feel that if you're a Game of Thrones (GOT) or How to Train your Dragon fan, this would be perfect for you! It's cute and not overly scary. 

I stamped the dragon on my new Strathmore Toned Gray paper and colored it in using Prismacolor colored pencils. What's great about using pre-colored paper, is that I didn't need to color in the entire image! Plus, the paper has these really cool fibers in it that adds interest to the card.

For my next card, I used the new Cuddlebug Sea Turtles; which are just so darn cute! Every cuddlebug is just so much fun. So, as you can see, I had lots of white space to fill up and instead of coloring in the space, I dotted small dots with my Tombow dual brush marker pens. You could use any markers that you have for this technique. Just a fun way to color in your image.

The new Cuddlebug Otter is also just SO CUTE, I made some water swirls for him to swim in :)

I used my Tonic Studios Nuvo drops (jewel, glitter, crystal) to just swirl the colors in. Really easy peezy!

And for my final card of the day, I used the freebie of this week called Patience and Love. Seriously, this is my FAVORITE! Way TOO cute! :) I colored in the quilt for the entire family using my Copic markers, then added stars and lots of sparkles with Tonic Studios Nuvo Glimmer Paste [moonstone].

It's March and it's time for the Unity gals to hop!

For my first card, it's this beautiful mermaid "Adella Girl" by Angie Girl. I used my new Jane Davenport watercolors [Bright Palette] - the colors are very fun and BRIGHT! LOVE them. Plus, a little goes a long way.  I also added some Nuvo drops to create the bubbles.

For this card, I used the "Drink Wine Feel Fine" stamp with the cute wine bottle/glass. I colored it with copic markers and inked the "table" with some Distress Oxide inks. Then I wanted to create like a wallpaper background, so I used the new Tim Holtz idea-ology collage paper "Botanical". This comes in black/white so it's fun to color them it or just leave it be. I used the Creative Devotion crayons to color them in to get a soft look.

And for my final card, I colored "Daisy Girl" with Spectrum Noir sparkle pens for the glitter. For my background, I used the new Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks [Tattered Rose / Squeezed Lemonade / Shaded Lilac]. The colors are so pretty! Then I sprayed some water over a Tim Holtz stencil to get the 'negative' look as the inks will react with water.

Happy March! 

Can you believe that it is already March? Time really flies but hey, a new month means new stamps! Today we have lots of beautiful Unity Phyllis Harris stamps. I always love how cute her stamps are so let's just get started.

For my first card, I am using the stamp "Today and Always" which features this super cute dog! I LOVE IT! So I wanted to add lots of hearts onto this card and created this melt art hearts with embossing powder. YUPS! How cool right? I saw Marianne from WOW Embossing powder demo-ing this technique and just have to try it out for myself. I used Zing metallic embossing powders for this technique. Imagine the possibilities!

And now, a card for the cat lovers! This "Meow & Furever" kit is jsut PURR-fect don't you think? I wanted to create a fun background for this card so I just grabbed some cat-related washi tapes and wa-la! :) Quick and easy (and a great way to use up your washi stash).

Oh... When I saw this "Happy Mind Happy Life", it literally just blew my mind! Don't you think this is such an awesome stamp? So carefree, relaxed and just happy? So I wanted to create some clouds as if she is just swinging in the skies. I played with some Golden glass bead gels and this thing is just AWESOME if you feel/see it in real. It literally has actual glass beads in it! Once it was dried, I used some Golden watercolor to color so that it looked like clouds (or water, if you prefer). I think it turned out awesome!

And for my final card, I used the "Angelic Wishes" stamp which is just so angelic! I wanted to create a dreamy effect so I mixed up some Tim Holtz distress oxide inks with..... (wait for it).... gesso! It creates this really nice soft tinted embossing paste - which I applied through a Tim Holtz stencil "Clockworks".
