For the first card, it is dedicated to Angela using the "Hip Hip Hooray" stamp set. I wanted to create a fun background for this card, so I doodled some designs with the Thermoweb Decofoil adhesive pen - which then I can add the Thermoweb Decofoil rainbow shattered glass foil to the card without using a laminator. This is a cool way to add some foil to your card and creating some unique patterns. 

Pro Tip: If you want a more opaque look, doodle with the pen in smaller portions then add the foil. This way, the glue will not dry out too fast. If you prefer a more sketchy look like mine - please watch the video :)

For the next card, I used the "Old Ways" kit which is this really cool retro vintage phone. Who else remembers these? :)

I stamped it all over my background, then used Tim Holtz distress crayons to color everything in. If you want a more opaque look, just color directly. If you want a softer look, add water to it. And if you want a complete watercolor look, scribble some of the crayon onto an acrylic block and use your waterbrush to color.

And for my final card of the day, I used the Tierra Jackson "They Built A Life" kit - which I colored with some Copic markers. Isn't the old couple just so precious? I decided to "frame" it all up using the Avery Elle frame die. For the background, I used the Unity Stamp SMAK April 2019 kit and distress oxide inks.

I am up on the Unity Stamp blog today, sharing a card I made using an older SMAK kit "Inner Voice" from 09/16

I LOVE that the SMAK kits are not only for scrapbooking but also great for making cards.

Some of the stamps are so huge, it would make a great focal point on your card. 

Here's an example of how I used the large beautiful flower from this kit for my card.

I stamped it in embossing ink and embossed it with Ranger's Gold embossing powder. I used watercolor cardstock because I am using the Zig Clean Color Real brush pens to color in the flower. I just colored the darker color at the bottom of each petal, then used a water brush to "drag" the color to the outer petal to create the gradient of color. If you're not into watercolors, these pens are great to try out!

Today I am posting on the Unity Stamp blog, sharing my art journal with lots of inks, stamps, stencils and more.

At times, my mind would go blank on what to create and I find that art journals help in just testing out techniques or just going wild and just have FUN!

I first sprayed the background with lots of Dylusions ink sprays then used some TCW stencils on it.

Then I went into happy stamping mode with Unity's SMAK kit "Happy little moments" 07/15 using some Prima chalk edgers ink.

I just love the designs and sentiments from this set!

I am sharing this on my DT blog post over at The Unity Stamp blog and it's another Bible journalling in my MAMBI Happy Planner.

Recently I've discovered Bible Journalling and I find it's just a wonderful way to just jot down your walk with God and at the same time -- get creative and use up your scrappy stash! I've also always marvelled at those who can draw so beautifully. Just magnificent!

So since I can't draw much, Unity Stamps are just perfect for this!

I painted the background with some Distress Paints [spun sugar, seedless preserves, picked raspberry] and stamped the images with Memento Dew Drop inks [turquoise gem, galaxy gold]. I wrote down the verse with my Micron Pigma pen when the paint has dried.

I have used the SMAK Aug 2015 kit "A little bit more" for this page.
