There's always a first time for everything, and when Caroline asked me to make a guestbook for her client I took up the challenge! ;)

Their wedding is this weekend -- with a rustic theme. The couple saw my hand-painted flowers over at my Instagram account @scrappyscrappy_ and loved it! They requested me to paint their guestbook.

After hours of painting and making this come to live, I'm happy it all came together!

I absolutely LOVE my Happy Planner! :)

I'm a total noob in the whole planner thing but I am indeed having fun with it. Been getting inspirations from so many on FB and IG I think I'm starting to get a hang of this!

Here's my layout for the month of AUGUST 2015.

On the side bar, I usually don't write much but just type out a favorite Bible verse as a reminder for myself. :) Recently I got some inspiration from Steph Buice (for us who do not have journaling bibles) to actually do some bible journaling in our Happy Planner. What a great idea Steph! :)

This month, I added lots of pretty washi tape and die cuts (since I have plenty of those!) 

Did I say how much I love my Royal typewriter? :)

When you got not much going on, just stick a die cut or sticker.

Or you could write some happy quotes in your Happy Planner! :)

I made the dino card and the cupcake wrapper from the kit -- which would be perfect for any kid (or adult) who loves dinos :)

It's Inspiration Time at The Cutting Cafe and we have it SUPER CUTE this week.

I am using the Big Girls Elena Jean - Rose B - McKenzie printable set to make my birthday tags today. I think this would be so much fun if I put these on birthday gifts at little girls' parties!

I made these tags with some white cardstock spritzed with Prima Color Bloom sprays, then topped with some Project Life cards (coz I really have TOO MANY of those oops) then tied with some 3 Girl Jam crinkled ribbon. I stamped the Unity Stamp birthday stamp with some Hero Arts ink.

For the girls, I colored them in with my Copic markers and paper pieced their dresses and added Stickles to it!

I used some Amy Tangerine paper for the earthy look and I absolutely LOVE this new sentiment kit. The sentiments are just perfect for any occasion!

It's party time with the new Stamp of the Week  "Presents x 5" at Unity Stamp.

I colored the stamp in with my Copics and then did mini stars on the background and made it like a patterned paper :) I also added Stickles to the mini stars for that extra bling!

I used Tim Holtz distress inks [Wild honey, Cracked pistachio, Dusty concord] and some painter's tape to create this effect.

I love how Distress Inks can be so versatile and create different effects! Here I am using the Distress Inks [Mustard seed, Wild honey, Peeled paint] to blend with the mini ink blending tool and just some plain water to create the distressed look. Finishing it up with some Trendy Twine "Grape Fizz" and wa-lah!

For my DT post at the SVG Attic blog I made a techie card for my brother using the "Here's to you dad" kit.

This kit was meant for Father's Day but I turned it into a birthday i-card instead.  :)

I personalized the date to reflect my brother's birthday and also added the notification circle at the message icon to show like "You've got a message" :) [Like "You've got mail"... get it? haha]

 Now let's hope my brother loves it! :)

Fun with Valentine's Day printable stamp set

I printed the love notes out in a stack and tied them up together using some Trendy Twine in "strawberry cupcake".

I also printed the LOVE word using the printable stamp set and put two cute bird stickers as in love birds... get it? Hahaha.

The cut out from the crayon box set would be great to have a peek on what's inside the box ;)

Challenge: Simon Says Stamp Tie it up

A brand new stamp of the week (SOTW) "Made my day bouquet" at Unity is out and it's GORGEOUS!!

I just just JUST had to make a card with this!

I first embossed the background with a music embossing folder, then colored the stamp in with my Copic markers. I then inked the background with some gold Prima chalk edgers and there you have it!
