Here is a card I made using the new Phyllis Harris stamp "Simple Places". Don't you think this is just SO so sweet?? LOVE it!

I colored the background using Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors. I first wanted to create an aurora sky, but had to much fun and made a psychedelic background instead! *oopsie*

Then I die cut the piece using one of my favorite dies, the Gina Marie Designs Stitched Wonky die.

I am sharing a tag I made over at The Unity Stamp Blog today, using this month's Kit of the Month "It's going to be beautiful". 

I stamped the beautiful flower/believe stamp on white cardstock and die cut the tag using Kat Scrappiness Stitched Scalloped Nesting Tag dies. Then it's time to color it up! 

I smooshed my Tim Holtz distress oxide inks [Worn Lipstick/Wilted Violet/Broken China/Cracked  Pistachio/Fossilized Amber/Spiced Marmalade/Fired Brick] on my craft mat and spritzed some water onto it. Then I swiped my tag onto the colors and wa-lah!

Finally, I added some Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to the tag and I'm done. 

Don't you think this stamp from the Kit of the Month is just so beautiful??

Before the week comes to and end, I made some NEW VIDEOS using Unity Stamp's pre-season NEW releases: Winter and Fall stamps. It's never too early for seasonal cards, so best to start early!

For my first card, I made a snowglobe card using the Wintertime Friends stamp. If you don't have a snowglobe die, no worries! Just use a circle die and slice off the bottom :) I embossed the snowglobe with Sizzix Tim Holtz textured fades embossing folder to create like a snowy background. Then I added some Prima Marketing Snowflake Paste for the snow. This paste is so shimmery and really does look like snow when it is dried!

For my next card, I used the other snowman from the Wintertime Friends. I stamped and die cut the stamps using a postage stamp die. Then I colored it with Copics and it is time to glitter it up! I love love LOVE my Wink of Stella clear glitter pen -- just the perfect touch to add some shimmery goodness without the bulk of the glitter.  You got to watch the video to see it in action!

And for my last card for today, I used the Full of Fall stamp set and die cut the cardstock using Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fancy Scalloped Rectangle dies. Don't you think the leave is so so pretty?

Then I inked up the entire background using Tim Holtz distress oxide inks [Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade] then did some gold drops using Ken Oliver's liquid metals [Yellow Gold]. Love how shiny it turned out!

For my first card, I am using the NEW stamp set by Susan Weckesser "Patience & Hugs" -- which has these super cute characters in it. Like seriously, aren't they just adorable? I colored them with my Copic markers then I embossed the beautiful stamp from Jolande & Marleen kit "Hello Beautiful". Pssttt, the secret of not getting your embossing powder sticking to places you don't want to? Try prepping your surface with the EK Success Powder Tool first. :)

For my next card, I wanted to use something most of us have in our scrappy rooms --- colored pens! I stamped the NEW Susan Weckesser kit "Happy Happy Joy Joy", die cut it using Gina Marie Designs Scalloped Stitched Nested Rectangle die, then used my Gelly Roll Souffle pens to color the images in. Who says you need expensive craft supplies to make a card. :)

My OH My.. Have you seen the new mail art stamps in the store? This NEW set by Tierra Jackson "Dilly-Dallyer {Envelope Art}" has got to be one of my favorites. SO so cool to stamp your envelopes with and make your own mail art. Psssttt, I also made my own DIY envelope using the WRMK Envelope Punch Board and also did some hand lettering using the Pentel Fude Touch pen.

Since I made my envelope out of kraft paper, I used my Colleen colored pencils to color it in and the images pop right up!

Have you checked out the NEW Planner Gal stamps by Angie Blom? These stamps are not just perfect for your planners but also to make cards with! Here are 2 brand NEW Planner Gal stamps I used "Today" and "You got this".

I first stamped my planner gal onto a rectangle cardstock, then die cut my faux photo frame using Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Oval die, then inked the photo frame using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide [Vintage Photo]. For the gal, I colored her with Copic markers then added lots of Tim Holtz Distress Stickle [Clear rock candy] with Thermoweb Mixed Media Adhesive. Glitter always make everything so pretty! :)

And for my last card for today, I used the FREEBIE: "Melon One" stamp and stamped it multiple times on my card. Then I die cut it using Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Rectangle die. I then got my Zig Clean Color Real brush pens and colored in the melons, purposely leaving only ONE melon bright red :)

Today I will be playing with the beautiful stamp set from Unity Stamp's July 2017 Kit of the Month "It's going to be beautiful" and Nuvo Mousse.

So, first up, I stamped the image on some white cardstock then die cut it out using the Gina Marie Designs Scalloped Stitched Rectangle die. Then it's time to start painting!

Did you know that the Nuvo Mousse can be used as watercolors because they are water-based? I just scraped some onto my craft mat, spritzed it with some water -- and I got myself some DIY metallic watercolors! I then used my Adornit waterbrush and just started painting. Oh oh!! And psssttt, you can also mix colors to make your own unique colors. :)

I then finished up the card by adding some Nuvo Jewel Drop - Sea Breeze and Nuvo Glitter Drop - White Blizzard

Oh my, how time flies right? 

It's already mid-year and today I got a little busy in my scrappy room, churning out some cards and NEW VIDEOS for you coz, the NEW release from Unity Stamp is just FABULOUS!

Many of you have been requesting planner stamps, and so -- your wish has come true!

(Pssst, planner stamps are also great on cards too!)

For my first card, I am using the BRAND NEW Planner Gal: Be a Beauty -- which is SO SO Pretty, don't you think? I stamped then colored her with my Prima watercolors [Pastel Dream]. I decided to do some partial embossing using my Tim Holtz Sizzix embossing folder [Texture Fades] and then colored it using my pretty Nuvo Mousse [Peony Pink, Aquamarine and Indian Gold] by just using my fingers. It is so metallic and shiny in real life!

For my next card, I used the NEW Planner Gal : Don't be Perfect stamp, and stamped her onto some Bazill kraft cardstock. Don't you think she is so cute?

 Then I decided to use my Kuretake Gansai Tambi [starry colors] watercolor and just paint the entire card in GOLD! Coz seriously, who doesn't like Gold? :) 

These watercolors are just pure heaven! SO SO shiny and metallic.

Psssttt, did you know that all the sentiment kits are on sale this weekend?

Here's a card I made using the brand NEW July 2017 Sentiment Kit: Hugs, Kisses & Birthday Wishes -- just check out how cute the owl is with all the balloons!

I colored him in using my Copic markers, then I decided to add some glitter to the balloons using Tim Holtz distress stickles dry glitter [Clear Rock Candy]. This glitter is just AMAZING!!! It is so glittery, and looks like sugar frosting on a cupcake. I used the Thermoweb iCraft mixed media adhesive to apply the glitter onto my card.

And for my final card, I used the NEW Planner Gal: Love Them stamp and colored her in with Copic markers. For the background, I was totally inspired by all the bible journaling ladies out there -- I had to try it out for myself too! I used an old gift card (you can use a credit card, a membership card... any card!) with some Tim Holtz distress paints [Wild honey, Spun Sugar, Mustard Seed, Cracked Pistachio]. I just scraped the paints onto my card and wa-la!! :)
