Hey friends .. I am back!

The whole COVID thing has taken a toll on myself and I'm sure all of us are trying to adjust to the "new norm". So, this weekend - I finally sat down and made a few cards because..

it is Unity Stamp's 11th Birthday! The celebration is a bit delayed but hey - better late than never eh?

Unity has some NEW rubber stamps, patterned papers and a HUGE sale too! :)

I have made a few very simple cards today but no videos.

Let's start off the first card with this super duper cute set called "Other Worldly Greetings". My goodness - isn't this just adorable?? I did a fun colorful galaxy background with Jane Davenport's mermaid markers then colored the rest in with Copic markers. I added a bubble speech to the sentiments and some glossy glaze on the balloon along with some sequins. I love how it all turned out! :)

Next up is a coffee set called "Coffee Queen" by Graciellie Design. I love her coffee mugs illustrations and it is so beautiful. I just added some coffee beans to the table and some coffee stains to the background. It's pretty easy to do the stains! Just put some watercolor on your craft mat, add water, put any circular based object to it and just "stamp" away.

And finally this cute mushroom village set called "Thanks so Mush". This just reminds me of the Smurfs! Anyone else watched that cartoon back when we were younger? :) I colored it with Copic markers and kept this card pretty simple. I just added some Nuvo jewel drops and some confetti hearts - and that's it!

For my first card, this beautiful dragonfly is from the "Hope & Strength" kit. I colored it with my Spectrum Noir sparkle markers to give it that extra bling. For the background, I used alcohol inks to create the blend of colors. It is so fun to play with - but do make sure you're in a well ventilated room :)

The next card is this beautiful bird from the "Do not Worry" kit. I colored it with Jane Davenport mermaid markers and the Bible verse is just perfect! For the background, I wanted to try something fun with my new Tim Holtz distress embossing glaze. I first used some Fiber Paste with my TCW stencil, then while it is still wet, I poured a mix of the embossing glaze --- then I heat it up! If you look at the next photo, you can see that the paste is kinda bubbled up but still glazy. This is a fun way to add colors and texture to your card!

This next card is using the new "Humble Places" kit, she is so so beautiful don't you think? To continue on with my Tim Holtz distress embossing glaze craze (that rhymed!) - I first colored the scene with Copic markers - then I used the Tim Holtz distress embossing pen to color in just her dress. When it is still sticky - pour the glaze over it, then heat it up! YUPSSSS, it is that simple and so much fun. Just look at how glossy and glazy it is! :)

I also added some punched out butterflies using the Martha Stewart punch and the patterned paper is from Unity Stamp.

And finally, this beautiful sweet girl is from the "Happiness by Choice". I cannot get over how sweet she is just sitting amongst the flowers. *obsessed*!!! I just did a simple watercoloring because when the image is so pretty - you really don't need to do much (IMHO).

Hi my scrappy friends!

How is everyone doing at this time? I hope all of you are happy, healthy and safe.

The first one is the "Basic Postcard template" digital stamp. This is so fun! You can basically create any kind of postcard with all the stamps you already have. I used the border backgrounds and the Nov 2019 sentiment kit "His Words" and colored it in using the Altenew watercolors. Great way to send someone a little cheer during this time.

Next is the "Pray More" digital stamp. What's fun about digital stamps is, you can flip them - resize them - do whatever you want with them! So I made two cards here to show you the fun ways you can use your digital stamps. I just did some Copic markers coloring and distress oxide ink blending - and bam! Two quick cards done :)

And we also have the "In this Together" digital stamp. I love the flower and the sentiments in this kit. We will definitely get through this together - me and you - the whole world. Let's us hold on to God, hope and faith --- and soon, everything will be ok.

I also made two cards to show you how you use your digital stamps - however you like! I just printed them on white cardstock and went to town with it with Jane Davenport mermaid markers and flickered some Gansai Tambi starry colors gold watercolor on it. Easy peezy! :)

For the first card I made, I wanted to create something different and was inspired by one of Jennifer Mcguire's videos. Since the new "I shall not want" stamp by Unity Stamp - Graciellie Designs is pretty large, I decided to do a fold card. The stamp will act like the "flaps" to open up the card, to reveal the sentiment inside. Loving the bible verse!

I colored the flowers with Jane Davenport watercolors, then tied the flowers together with some Trendy Twine "Krazy for Kraft" and also added some Nuvo dream drops at the corners of the card.

For the next card, this stamp is also by Graciellie Designs called "Family Love". I am totally obsessed with this orchid stamp! I colored it with Tombow markers and added a die cut background using Thermoweb decofoil flock transfer sheet. It is so fuzzy irl! This is a fun way to incorporate the flock sheets into your card.

For my final card, I am in love with this "Like a Lotus" set, I wanted to make the lotus float on the water. So to create the water swirls, I used some Tonic Studios nuvo drops in 3 different colors and finishes. This is a super easy technique but it creates some dimension and depth to your card :)

For my first card, I am going for my signature rainbow look with this new stamp "Being There" by Phyllis Harris. I used the "Rainbow Vibes" Unity Stamp paper for the background and added a rainbow (literally! haha) using the MFT stamps dies. I colored it using some Altenew watercolors for the dreamy look.

Time is flying like crazy now and Christmas is just a month away now, so it's time for some holiday card. I LOVE this new stamp "Blessed Baby" by Angie Blom - it is just so beautiful! I colored the nativity scene with Gansai Tambi watercolors and also added some pearlescent watercolor to add some shine to it. I also die cut a frame using Kat Scrappiness nesting rectangle die to just frame the card. I feel that with with this simple addition, it does make a difference - don't you think?

For the next holiday card, I used the "Scenic Route" by Tierra Jackson - I absolutely LOVE this kombi! Reminds me of Scooby Doo's mystery machine. Since the sentiment said "scenic route", so I painted an aurora sky with Jane Davenport watercolors and added some Cinderella Unity Stamp sequins.

And finally, this cutie from the "Happy Winter Gnome" kit by Angie Blom - I created the background using Unity Stamp's Holiday Intrigue papers and Lawn Fawn's cloud dies. I also added some Nuvo drops to the sky for the extra bling.

For my first card, it's "The Owl & the Moon" and he is SO cute! Love how he's just sitting on the moon (hehe). So, of coz I had to create a starry galaxy background for him - using some Tim Holtz distress oxide inks. Then I decided to go a little extra and add on some shiny gold stars using Thermoweb Decofoil Metallix Gel and a star stencil. The stencil pal made it so easy to spread the paste across the stencil.

You know that recently Unity Stamp released lots of brand new papers right? Here's one from the Rustic winter wishes. I decided to stamp the Unity Stamp Layers of Life (LOL) Nov 2017 kit on the paper, then ink it with some Tim Holtz distress inks to ground the trees. Then I added some snowy drops with Nuvo crystal drops.  The beauty is a brand new stamp called "Make it happen girl".

And finally, this cutie snowman is from Unity Stamp "Stay Warm" kit. I had to create a winter night sky for him, using some Jane Davenport watercolors. Watch the video to see how easy you can paint this scene too! :)

It has been a month since I last updated my blog. So, here I am with some brand new releases at Unity Stamp. They are just perfect for the holidays!

Starting off with a colorful thanksgiving card and a rainbow turkey. The new "Frondescence" background is so pretty, you could use it for many kinds of cards. I colored them up using Jane Davenport mermaid markers - I just love how vibrant the colors are. 

For the Cuddlebug Turkey, I colored it with copic markers and I just had to make him "fly". I die cut a slider slit using the Lawn Fawn "slide on over" die cut set and wa-la... he's flying!! :)

From thanksgiving, we go to  Christmas with this beautiful "All that sparkles" stamp. I colored her with copic markers, added some sparkle with Spectrum Noir pens. For the background, I used Newton's Nook Designs "argyle stencil" set with Tim Holtz distress oxide inks. They are just so perfect together! Oh, and I used a small makeup blending brush to get into the tight corners.
