Oh yes, I am a bit behind on decorating my planner.

Weirdly this month I feel like I'm SO busy but my planner is rather empty. 

So what do I do?

I do my Bible art journaling in my planner! :) 

I created the background with yummy Distress Paints [Broken China // Shaded Lilac] then I wrote and stamped some words using Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart & lean not on your own understanding".

I also added some chipboard stickers to the verse to add some dimension.

I am really loving this Bible journaling in my planner!

 Really makes up for all the empty spaces :)

In this kit, there are three 2D cards and I made the snowman and penguin cards.

The sentiments used on both cards are from Unity Stamp.

And the penguin card - where I made a twine pom pom for his hat using Trendy Twine's Holly Berry twine.

Sandy Allnock is giving a week of FREE class #goforthegoldclass on her blog here and since I love GOLD, I just had to make something right? :)

I was inspired by her Day 4: Liquid Gold class and I made this snowmen card! 

I used the Snow Way kit by Susan W / Unity Stamp.

The aurora background is painted with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and since I don't have any liquid gold, I used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi metallic gold watercolor to paint in the gold flakes and  snowmen :) I spritzed the background with some Heidi Swapp gold mist.

I am sharing this on my DT blog post over at The Unity Stamp blog and it's another Bible journalling in my MAMBI Happy Planner.

Recently I've discovered Bible Journalling and I find it's just a wonderful way to just jot down your walk with God and at the same time -- get creative and use up your scrappy stash! I've also always marvelled at those who can draw so beautifully. Just magnificent!

So since I can't draw much, Unity Stamps are just perfect for this!

I painted the background with some Distress Paints [spun sugar, seedless preserves, picked raspberry] and stamped the images with Memento Dew Drop inks [turquoise gem, galaxy gold]. I wrote down the verse with my Micron Pigma pen when the paint has dried.

I have used the SMAK Aug 2015 kit "A little bit more" for this page.
