If you are here to see if you are the Giveaway winner, be patient and read on! :)

What would a giveaway be without a scrappy project from me to my readers right? :) So here's a baby album I made for a friend who has a baby girl who just turned one. I rarely make mini albums these days ever since I ventured into Project Life & Smash* Books but  I figured this would be perfect for her when she grows up to look back at how happy she was :)

I first painted the pages with acrylic paint. When it is dried (you can use a heat gun or leave it overnight), I just stucked on papers, die-cuts, stickers and photos! It's pretty easy when you have a ready-made mini album (Ok, I cheated a little!). Here are some of the pages inside.

Supplies: Flower edge layer book chipboard album (Maya Road) / Die-cuts (Grace Taylor) / Paper (MME/Recollections) / Sentiment banners & stickers (MME/Crate Paper/Pebbles) / Adirondack Acrylic Paint dabber (Ranger) / Alpha (Basic Grey)/ Buttons & Ribbon (misc)

It has been an exciting time for Scrappy Scrappy ever since I started this blog. I started venturing into the scrappy world late 2011 very unexpectedly and I did not expect to be sucked in so fast and so deep. Since I had no clue on scrappy, I watched plenty of YouTubes and viewed many blogs for inspirations. Fast forward, it's 2013 and I decided to start a FB page for Scrappy Scrappy. I can't tell you how much I love every moment spent in my new scrappy room and meeting so many talented people along the way.

For everyone who has encouraged me and gave me great advice, THANK YOU.
For everyone who left many lovely comments and am following me in my journey, THANK YOU.
For everyone who has impacted me to be creative and think scrappy, THANK YOU.

So.. back to the giveaway winner! I really am very grateful for each and everyone of you who has left comments, liked, pinned, FB-ed... it's just amazing! THANKS! And to pick just ONE winner - it was very tough. I wished I could give each person a gift - but there is only one scrappy pack. Please do not be disheartened if you did not win this time. I am very sure that there will be more giveaways in the future.

Since it will not be fair if I just picked one myself - coz everybody was equally lovely - I used the random number generator and the giveaway winner is ...... Purplekt22!

Congratulations Katie!!

Today's card is absolutely inspired by some fabulous twine from The Twinery. How would I use twine in a different way? Here's a peek at my card!

If you do not know, they are having their first ever themed challenge and I feel that this challenge really pushed me out of my thinking box.  So I used some round wood chips and put some Scotch glue on it. Then I used my tweezers and starting rolling on the twine from the middle all the way out to form a circle! And wa-la! A fun birthday card. I just love the twine colors, don't you?

Supplies: Twine (The Twinery) / Paper (MME/Recollections) / Sticker sentiment (Simple Stories)

I have an obsession. A washi obsession. I have rolls and rolls of this pure scrappy goodness and I just can't seem to get enough of !  I am also inspired by the Muse card challenge with how colorful a card can be and who doesn't love colors right? Especially when it's washi :)

I did a quick weaving with the washi .. like how you would on paper and wa-lah! A colorful background perfect for a birthday card. ;)

For a quick Valentine mini album & my 1st giveaway post, please click here.

I noticed the chalkboard trend floating around quite a lot, and I wanted to try it for the longest time. So this week, I took some of my favorite Unity stamps and my white Tsukineko Brilliance Archival ink and gave it a go. Here's what I came up with!

I had punched the scallop borders out of a pink patterned paper using my American Crafts Knockouts punch. Love this punch as the kit comes with 5 different punch patterns! The bow I made it fluffier by folding it and using some glue dots and finished it with a pinky button.

Oh, and did you know I am having my first ever GIVEAWAY here? Come and do join in the fun! Thanks.

I took a 12x12 journalling card from the Everyday Eclectic Echo Park Paper collection and cut it up to 4x6 each. Then every page is attached together using washi tape. The rest is decorated using the stickers and paper from the same collection. I did use some from the new Photo Freedom collection as well.
