I am HALF way through my Copics class and I thought I'd share with you some of the stuff I have been coloring. :)

These are definitely not perfect (and I need more practice) but the class had helped a lot!

This bird image is just so pretty and I love some of the color combis I was playing around with.

Some flowers :)

Coloring two different hairstyles with the same colors.

And learning how to color humans! :)

Vampire robots and bats are pretty fun to color too! :)

Now .. back to the class for MORE!!

Oh yeah yeah!!
Doesn't it all look so yummy? :)

I finally bit the bullet and signed up for my first ever online class!
And being my first class - of coz it had to be about Copics right? :)

It's Day 5 of the class and I'm only starting on Day 1.
(I didn't realize it started and signed up late.. *LOL*)

The above is something I learned on Day 1 - on how to blend and mixing my own color combis.
FUN!

Back to the drawing scrappy board.

Guess what?

Unity now has (more than) 40,000 Facebook friends!!
Can everybody say WOOT WOOT? :)

So, before I spill on what the Celebration is all about, here's a card I made today.
Oh yeah... Here I have officially started on my CHRISTMAS cards!
YAHOOO!! :)

Remember our Unity Stamp + Faber Castell Hop last week? Click HERE if you've missed it.
Well, I just couldn't get enough of the Gelatos so, I used it here again! :)

Using the snowflake stamps from 09/14 KOM "Happy, Thankful and Blessed" and the sentiment "His Presence" - I did an emboss resist technique to get this watercolor effect.

Here's the tutorial step-by-step for this card.
If you like this video, feel free to give a thumbs up and SUBSCRIBE to my channel.
Many Thanks :)

Don't we all just love Unity Stamps and Gelatos? :)

And Suzi Blu has some BRAND NEW stamps for Unity!
I absolutely ADORE Suzi and her stamps are so whimsical.
Of course, I JUST had to go MAKE something!!

Check out her brand NEW stamps and VIDEO just for Unity on the Unity {Show and Tell} FB Group!

It's Inspiration Time at The Cutting Cafe again and this week it's all about packaging.

For today's post, I have used the Coffee Cup Holder set and altered it.
Rather than using it for coffee (since I am not very much of a coffee drinker), I have used it to store my scrappy supplies instead :)

I love how cute the holder came out to be. I've added some flowers and bling too :)
You could opt not to have the holder and instead use it as boxes to store your supplies.

Remember to go to The Cutting Cafe blog and leave a comment for a chance to win any 3 sets from the store. YES!! 3 sets! :) Regina is awesome that way.

Happy weekend.

This week is a special Unity Hip Hop Thursday as we are joining with Faber Castell ALL WEEK LONG for Inspiration - Prizes - and FUN!!

I have always loved Faber Castell. Their products are just so much fun - especially the GELATOS!
So I made a few cards today showcasing the different techniques you can use with Gelatos.
Don't you LOVE it when ONE product can be used in MANY ways?

***

Have you tried stamping with Gelatos? Well, here's how fun it will look!

I love the watercolor effect it gives and yes, you can mix colors coz they blend oh-so-well !
Here I am using the "Wish with your heart" kit along with the August 08/14 KOM "Summer collapsed into fall"

***
Now, how about gelatos with embossing folders?

What I did here was first, to emboss my card then simply apply the Gelatos across the embossed areas.
I then sprayed some Diamond glimmer mist on it to add some shine (which my camera isn't really picking up here).

Add a few cute little stamps - here I am using "Hello Little One" kit - and you are done! :)

***
And finally, gelatos go so well with resist emboss too!

You could emboss with any embossing powder for this effect but here I am using Pink Paislee's artisan paper which already is embossed. (SAVES me all the time :) )
Simple scribble some Gelatos onto it, add some water and blend it in with your fingers!
EASY PEEZY! :)

And if you did not know, Angie Blom has released some AMAZING NEW Angie Girls!! I am using Julie Girl for my card - which I think looks AWESOME!!  She's just so PRETTY :)

Over at Unity we have a GIRLS WEEKEND! So do check out the sales over at Unity :)

This week we are hopping with Faber Castell, so don't forget to leave comments on EACH of our blogs and their blog... there are some wonderful prizes to be won! Comments open until Sept 21st, ONE winner will be announced Monday night.
