Happy Friday!

Today I have a thank you card - coz we can never have too much to give out right?

I used the beautiful skethed flowers, sentiment and woodgrained background from Unity Stamp's "Be your own kind of beautiful" {KOM 1/14}. This kit is really beautiful!

As you can see, I've colored the flowers in with my Distress markers, giving the watercolor effect. The background is embossed in some Ranger Queen's Gold embossing powder.

Remember to link up your card at Sister Act Card challenge and win some amazing prizes from our sponsors!

Happy Friday everybody! :)

Good Friday is the time when Jesus died for all our sins and took it upon Himself because..

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

and EASTER is the day that Jesus rose again (on the 3rd day) and He is ALIVE!

"We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him." Romans 6:9

Do you know that Jesus loves you and wants you to have eternal life? :)

Have you seen the awesome Good Day at the Office from SVGCuts? When I saw this typewriter, I knew I had to have it!

I've always wanted a vintage typewriter and since I couldn't get one, I made one for myself :) With my FAVORITE colors too.

The stamps I used is by Unity Stamp (of coz!) and the paper clip is by Webster's Pages.

Wishing you an awesome weekend ahead.

HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY & EASTER! :)

Today is indeed GOOD Friday and it's time to celebrate Jesus!

Just in case you are curious and wondering...

For today's post at Scrap-n-Crop.com HERE, I made a very fun coloring book for my niece, who's birthday is this weekend! She's into all things scrappy (and I'm elated that she is), so I made her a customized coloring book (along with a BIG bag of scrappy goodies!).

I used lots and lots of Unity Stamps for her to color in and Unity does have some very cute stamps! Perfect for kids :)

So, get your stamps out and start stamping!

TGIF! It's the weekends :)

I made this card with these pretty butterflies from Unity's SOTW this week.

I used my Tim Holtz distress markers to color them in for that distressed look.

Found this beautiful quote by Henri Matisse

For today's SACC post - I have a sympathy card made for my friend.

It's difficult where there is a loss - and no words can describe the sadness.

Take care my friend.

It's Thursday and it's time to do the Unity HOP! :)

Mother's Day is fast approaching so it's a great time to start making those cards for your dearest mothers :) I took this beautiful image from this month's KOM "Botanical Bliss" and made this fast and simple card.

I colored in the jar of flowers with a mix of Distress markers + Copic markers.

If you have not gotten your KOM this month - you may want to because this kit is just so pretty!

And because it's April (Yes, time just flies by so fast right?) we have a new Unity {be inspired} challenge... and you are going to LOVE this one! The colors and sketches are so pretty!

I made a card again with April's KOM with this awesome large image (ain't that ladybug super cute?) using the Card Sketch.

Added some glitter and liquid pearls for that extra touch.

Don't forget to check out this week's promo.

Thanks for dropping by! :)

Oh yea.. I am still embracing new beginnings as a Unity Stamp DT and I made a quick card with the January & March 2014 KOTM.

Made the background with some Heidi Swapp color shine then stamped the pretty flowers. I colored them in with my copics to put the pop in the card. Finally added the beautiful sentiment to finish it up.

There, quick and easy - all under 5 minutes! :)

Scrap-n-Crop.com has their own card kits and I've made this floral vintage card from it. The kit is filled with lots of goodies and you can go very creative with it :)

The first thing that captured my eye is this floral image from the Kaisercraft stamp set.

I colored the image in with Distress Markers for that soft watercolor effect.

For the step-by-step on how I made this card click HERE and get your Card Kit from Scrap-n-Crop.com HERE

Are you like me?? I have TONS of clear stamps which are thrown in drawers, on my table ... everywhere! I had no idea on how to organize them and keep them all in sight. As you know - if they are not in sight, you won't use them. *lol*

So over the weekends - I organized them in these pretty binders! All at a very low cost.

All you need are:
--------------------------
+ A two ring binder
+ Some DVD clear pockets
+ White cardstock
+ Ribbon
+ Clear / Rubber stamps

This DIY method eliminates the expensive cost of getting the actual branded scrappy pockets + binders.

1. Cut a white cardstock to make the pocket more sturdy
2. Your clear stamps come with the acetate/plastic pieces, so put it in the pocket just as it is. (You can also put in rubber stamps in these binders)
3. For the bigger clear stamps pieces, I cut them into two and put them into two pockets so that it would fit.
4. Finally, label each pocket by making your own label OR just use the brand packaging that comes with it, like below.

Simple and easy!!  Just under 1 hour to get it all organized. Hope this simple tip helps you! :)
