Easter is just next week and we are creating Easter projects all weekend long over at The Cutting Cafe blog.

What is Easter?
Easter is the 3rd day after Good Friday - when we celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16

Here, I made a card using the Happy Easter overlay template and I glittered up the words using some Distress Glitter {mustard seed}. The bunny cutout is from SVG Attic.

Although I have no idea how bunnies are related to Easter, I would love to have a Choc Bunny right now hahaa.

I just want to thank God for all that He has done for me and I am definitely blessed.

Happy (early) Easter! :)

Hello! :)

It's Hippity Hop time with the Unity DT chicks again and I am back with a card!

But before that... do you - at times - get stuck and have no inspirations at all on what to make? Well, I do!
For me, Pinterest and Instagram is pretty inspirational. But... I am absolutely an INSTA addict! I check it all the time and love seeing what others create. And to think I only started my account a few months ago. Haha.

Here's a quick sneak at my Insta account @scrappyscrappy_
Yeah, I make and try quite a few things out in my spare time - as if I'm not busy enough, right? :)

***

OK, now back to the card I made today and LOTS of exciting stuff to share!!!

Using this month's KOTM "Always Begin Again", I used the jar (which is huge) and I love all those flowers on it along with the Thank You sentiment.

I colored the jar in with my Copics and also added some glossy accent on the flowers (which my camera cannot capture well enough). For the background, I have embossed it with Maggie Holmes embossing folder and used my favorite spritz - the Prima Color Bloom spray {Iris & Teal}.

Today's card was inspired by this month's Unity {be inspired} challenge card sketch.

Do join in the challenge for a chance to win:

3 Kits of Your CHOICE
(each kit valued at $29 or under)
{no KOM, SMAK, LOL, or Stamp of the Week, please}
10 Itty Bitty Stamps of YOUR CHOICE

That is a VALUE of OVER $100!

PLUS you get to HOP with the Unity Design Team for
the NEXT {be inspired} challenge hop if you would like!!!!

***

And since the Angie Girls and Phyllis Harris stamps are all under $10 today, here are some #throwback cards I made :)

We have some AWESOME SALES today so here are the details!

We also have TWO amazing Unity filled prize packages to giveaway today.  Leave a comment on EACH blog in the hop (including the Unity blog) for your chance to win.  The winners will be announced Monday night on the Unity blog.

At Scrap-n-Crop.com, we have an exclusive Kit of the month and for March - it's all about Weddings!
The design team members have each come up with some ideas on what to make from this kit and here's mine!

I created an accordion photo display for some of my wedding photos. This was relatively easy and quick to do - and after making this --- I still had TONS left in the kit!

Simply cut out 2 strips of cardstock and adhere them together. Then use the 3x4 cards to embellish each page and include your photos too!

I also added some Stickles to one of the cards to bling it up. You can add any kinds of embellies from buttons, to ribbons and jewels too!

I hope you are inspired to make this simple project to display your photos!

At each stop of the hop we hope you will be inspired by the creativity of the design teams of SVG Attic and Snapdragon Snippets. You are sure to find many wonderful projects that will be at the top of your crafting lists!

You should be arriving from Cyndy's blog. If you happened across this post out of order, please head to the SVG Attic blog to start at the beginning of the hop.

Here is the project I created for this hop:

Since Easter is coming soon, I made this cute 3D egg as a decor for my humble abode.

Would it surprise you if I told you that this was actually the Golf Gift Box from the "Here's to you dad" kit?
(The kit is now being reworked and will be available soon)

I thought it'd be cool to turn the golf ball into a 3D egg for Easter and that's exactly what I did! :) The big bow on top of the egg is a paper bow I made. You could use ribbons too.

I also used the "Easter Elements" and cut out the basket, chick and butterflies to decorate the gift box.
You could hide some chocolate or real eggs in here!! :)

Now how about some blog hop prizes??

$15 Gift Certificate to SVG Attic

and

What do you need to do to be eligible for these amazing prizes?

Happy Saturday!

I made a card for the Unity Stamp blog using the "Trust your soul" 11/14 SMAK kit . I love the images from this set and it's perfect to make not only layouts, but also cards.

Here's a card I made where I used several different types of distress mediums.

I stamped the big heart using Picked Raspberry Distress Paint dabber and for the splatters some Mustard Seed Distress Ink. For the butterfly, I colored the stamp in using some Distress markers - which I then spritzed with some water and stamp onto some cardstock for that watercolor look. I also used some guava pink gelato for the background.

Have an awesome weekend!

Stucked at work? Need a break? Longing for a holiday?

Well, I made a travel suitcase -- and I'm ready for an adventure!! :)
Well, ok.. Not really going to Hawaii at this moment, but one can dream right? :)

I actually turned the First Aid Box from the "Feel Better soon" kit (which is being reworked and will soon be available again in store) into a travel suitcase! I love that the kits from SVG Attic are always so versatile and could be changed from it's original intended "design".

I got some travel themed stickers and layered them on the suitcase, reminding me of all those nasty sticky stickers that I find so difficult to get off your suitcase at times. I even made a luggage tag and tied it with twine to the handle.

Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you have an awesome adventure this week.

Don't forget to check out the Design Team Call we have right now.

It's Inspiration Time at The Cutting Cafe blog and it's all things GREEN today since St.Patrick's Day is coming soon.

I love this set "Everyday Word Windows & Shakers Set" and the one that I loved the most is the Baby Window Card.

I made it primarily green with lots of green beads and embellies for the shaker. I also added a duck from the "Duck Shaped card" set

Fun card to gift for a baby shower, don't you think? :)

Valentine's Day was quite recent and it's a great time to start preserving those precious memories. Using Scrap-n-Crop's Valentine Embellishment kit, I made a layout with it.

The background paper is from Elle's Studio (not part of the kit) whilst the rest are everything from the kit! I did not include a photo in my layout but hey - it's OK. :) Art has no rules. Just go with what you feel like creating!

I've also did some droplets on the background using some Heidi Swapp spritz mist {Primrose} and I stamped the "Cherish" stamp in some Distress Ink {Spun Sugar}

Also, I added some foam adhesive to add some layers and dimension to my layout.

Here is what the Valentine's Day kit look like. TONS of goodies for only RM50!
