Happy Saturday!

Mother's Day is just a few weeks away and so, I've made some Mother's Day cards for our mothers.

Scrap-n-Crop.com April 2015 Mother's Day kit is perfect for this occasion!
I used the journaling cards, washi tape and the American Crafts rubons which they all go so well together, don't you think?

Here are both of the cards that I made!

ScrappyScrappy: Mom you are the best #scrappyscrappy #mothersday #scrapncrop #card

ScrappyScrappy: Mom you are the best #scrappyscrappy #mothersday #scrapncrop #card

I also added some bling coz Mothers do love blings right? :)

ScrappyScrappy: A mother's heart holds endless love #scrappyscrappy #mothersday #scrapncrop #card

ScrappyScrappy: A mother's heart holds endless love #scrappyscrappy #mothersday #scrapncrop #card

Can you spot the rubons? :)

There is just SO MUCH in the kit you could make plenty with it. I absoultely adore the patterns and colors in this kit.

I also found some vintage patterned papers (from my own stash) to make some envelopes which I find was perfect for Mother's Day.

Now that I'm done with Mother's Day, should I start making Father's Day cards too? :)

Today's post is filled with butterflies, flowers and all things glittery!

It's Inspiration Time over at The Cutting Cafe blog and this week we are in a "basket" mood :)

ScrappyScrappy: Flower Butterfly Basket #scrappyscrappy #thecuttingcafe #svg #diecut #glitter

I have made the Round Basket with Handle to store some of my glittery buttons. You could always make the basket bigger to store other things or put some flowers in it for Mother's Day.

ScrappyScrappy: Flower Butterfly Basket #scrappyscrappy #thecuttingcafe #svg #diecut #glitter

I've also cut out the butterflies that come with this kit with some vellum and added some Stickles for the bling. I also added some glitter tape and liquid pearls around the basket to give some pop!

Happy Monday :)

I am sharing my project for my DT post over at SVG Attic's blog today and
I have made a gift box using the Band Aid Gift Box from the "Feel Better Soon" kit.

SVG Attic: Flower box with Angeline Choo #svgattic #scrappyscrappy #giftbox #flowers

Somehow by adding the flowers from the "Autumn Splendor" kit and with the green patterned paper I chose, it looks like flowers on a lily pad :)

I also added some lace trims and liquid pearls for that extra detail to the gift box.

Have a happy week ahead!

J&S is celebrating their daughter, Anya's 1st birthday this weekend and I got her a little something.
So, what better way to give a gift that in your very own handmade gift bag right? :)

I chose some cute papers to make this bag using the SVG Cut's "Big Boutique Boxes" kit.
Here's the bag from the side view.

I tied the tag to the big bow using some pink twine and personalized the tag with some puffy stickers, and Unity stamps.

Happy Birthday Anya!

It's the Grand Re-opening of Sweet Stamp Shop and Nicole (the owner) has invited quite a few of us to join in the celebrations!

I've always admired their stamps but never had the chance to play with them till now. I got this super duper cute stamp from her and I made this card! :)

I colored the stamp in with my Copics and layered them up on my embossed background misted with Color Bloom Spray in Gold.

I may need more of their stamps after this!! :)
Go check them out.

It's Happy Candy time! :)

This week, The Cutting Cafe DT peeps are assigned to make something from the "Vending Machine template" for Inspiration Time over at The Cutting Cafe blog.... and boy-oh-boy did I have fun with this!

I made a Happy Candy Vending Machine. This is such a fun set that is suitable as fun party gifts or decors.

I also used my newly acquired cute puffy stickers to add some interest :)

Well, if you're not a candy lover, no fret! These little things are good to store your crafty scrappy supplies too. Here, I put some washi tapes in! :) This would be perfect as a gift too.

Now, go on. Go make your happy vending machine of your own! :)

Happy Monday!
Over at the SVG Attic's blog, I have made this pinky cuteness gift bag for my DT post HERE.

I made this cute pinky pretty purse from the "Pretty Purses" kit and chose this purse with the pocket on the front.

The pocket on the front is not just decorative but useful to put a tag, birthday card or more. Here, I made a simple tag with washi tapes and a stamped sentiment from Unity Stamp. I also added some liquid pearls to the purse using some Viva Decor Paper Pen.

I've also added a glitter button to the flower and curled up some of the petals (and added foam adhesive) for that extra dimension.

In this kit, you can make 3 other different purses. So have fun! :)

Have a wonderful week ahead.

Happy Good Friday & Happy Easter! :)
It's time to hop along with the Unity DT chicks again and we have LOTS of new stamps to show.

This weekend is a special weekend because it is a day we remember our Saviour.

On Good Friday we remember the day Jesus willingly suffered and died by crucifixion as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins (1 John 1:10). It is followed by Easter, the glorious celebration of the day Jesus was raised from the dead, heralding his victory over sin and death and pointing ahead to a future resurrection for all who are united to him by faith (Romans 6:5).

***

Here's a stamp recently designed by Suzi Blu "Because of Jesus" and I thought how appropriate for this special occasion. Mind you, the Jesus stamp is HUGE! It is 6.25″ x 6.75″.

So here's a mixed media canvas I made using lots of Dylusions ink sprays (my latest obsession).

I sprayed {London Blue, Crushed Grape and Vibrant Turqoise} on the background and did some "ghosting" technique on it with a Dylusions stencil. I loved how easy it is to get this effect only with a stencil and some water!

Then I added some Dylusions "clearly borders" stamps and colored Jesus in with Golden QOR watercolors. They blended so perfectly!

***

And as you know, I love Phyllis Harris stamps and she has lots of brand new ones! Here's one from her "Rejoice and be Glad" kit.

I  colored her in with Copic markersand I glittered her dress up with some clear Wink of Stella.
See how shiny it is? :)

And what do we have this week?
EASTER sales & new stamps!!

Hope you have been inspired and happy shopping!
I got myself a Choc bunny and eggs to munch in. :) I heard some chocs are sold out in some places!!
Here's to a wonderful weekend to all of you.
