Happy Monday.
Since Chinese Lunar New Year is this weekend, I made a large firecracker on the SVG Attic blog using the JGW Patriotic Celebration kit.

Usually for the New Year, we have firecrackers (and oranges too amongst many things!) and this was just perfect as a decor in our home.

I found some Valentine paper that actually had some oriental pattern to it and used it for my firecracker, along with some stickers with gold foil. The 福 word is a common Chinese character during the Lunar New Year, which means blessing, fortune, good luck and happiness.

Here's an upclose of the large firecracker!

Happy Merry Monday!

So, Christmas is ALMOST here (just 2 months away!!) and I am already in the Christmas mood.

For today's DT post over at the SVG Attic blog, I made this LARGE Christmas Candy Cane (it's almost 12 inches tall!) with the JGW Santas Repose kit.

I made the bell from the santa's boot using some gold foiled paper and then wrapped the candy cane in gold glitter tape and some Holly Berry Trendy Twine!

At each stop of the hop we hope you will be inspired by the creativity of the design teams of SVG Attic and Snapdragon Snippets. You are sure to find many wonderful projects that will be at the top of your crafting lists!

You should be arriving from Cyndy's blog. If you happened across this post out of order, please head to the SVG Attic blog to start at the beginning of the hop.

Here is the project I created for this hop:

Since Easter is coming soon, I made this cute 3D egg as a decor for my humble abode.

Would it surprise you if I told you that this was actually the Golf Gift Box from the "Here's to you dad" kit?
(The kit is now being reworked and will be available soon)

I thought it'd be cool to turn the golf ball into a 3D egg for Easter and that's exactly what I did! :) The big bow on top of the egg is a paper bow I made. You could use ribbons too.

I also used the "Easter Elements" and cut out the basket, chick and butterflies to decorate the gift box.
You could hide some chocolate or real eggs in here!! :)

Now how about some blog hop prizes??

$15 Gift Certificate to SVG Attic

For today's post on SVG Attic's blog here, I have made a bucket full of flowers using the Autumn Splendor kit.

Aren't the flowers an absolute beauty?

These were so easy to make, I had to stop myself before the bucket overflowed! :)

I've added layers and layers of the flowers to make it so full, then finishing it with a brad in the center.
I've also embossed the leaves with my Big Shot for that added texture.

For the flower bucket, I've used some metallic paper for that extra shine!

Don't you think this would be great as a gift for someone too?

Oh and did you know that TODAY, the Sister Site of SVG Attic --  SnapDragon Snippets has a GRAND RE-OPENING?

Go take a visit now and you may very well walk away with a Silhouette Portrait!

I've been busy preparing for Christmas - presents, cookies, tree and scrappy-ing ! Here's some of the things I did :)

[Warning: This is a very long post filled with scrappy scrappy!]

I just got my free set of "snowflake kisses" from Unity and it's the best snowflakes stamps ever! So I took out my Hero Arts inks and started stamping away.

Here's a present wrapped with my homemade wrapping paper! :)

Talking about presents, if you want to make some last minute gifts, this tutorial by Lowri McNabb (Papervinenz) is awesome! I even made two - just by using two 12x12 sheets of paper!

While I was at it, I decided to decorate our home with some scrappy goodness :) First up, I decorated a plain old white box into this!

Doesn't it make you want to drink a cup (of happy)? :) Next up, some Christmas ornaments. I stamped some gingy girl & boy using the "Better not pout" itty bitty stamp.

Then I strung them up with twine to make these!

Then I made these!! :) The best way to mix Christmas collections from various scrappy brands. Here's the link to the tear drop ornament tutorial by PaperHaus. Go to page 34-35.

Last but not least, I made gingerbread men today! Totally inspired by the stamp I used earlier. :)

Wishing all of you a Merry and Blessed Christmas! May this season of joy bring happiness to you as we also remember our dear Lord Jesus who was born on this special day.
