For my first card, I used the "Best of the Best" kit, which is this super pretty vintage dressform. I absolutely LOVE this kit! I colored it in using my Copic markers, then added lots of pretty paper flowers from Prima Marketing. A simple card, but so fun to assemble!

My next card uses "So Dang Happy" kit. Before I stamped the flowers/dandelions on, I did a fun (perhaps crazy looking) background using just 1 stencil. By simply rotating the stencil, I created a new background with it. You may want to watch the video to understand how this technique works :) Because the stamp didn't stand out on it's own against the background, I used a white gelly pen to color the stamp in.

For my first card, I used the new Margaret Girl. She is so beautiful, don't you think? I colored her with my Copic markers and put on lots of Wink of Stella clear glitter to bling up her dress. Then, it's time to glitter up the background as well. You know how parties have photobooths these days with glittery backdrops and streamers? So, that was what I was trying to create here :)

Once I'm done coloring, it's time to pop the card! I used MFT Stamps Peekaboo window die to create the peekaboo, but instead of creating a peekaboo, I popped the girl up!

Continuing on with the birthday celebrations, this new "Blissful Birthday" stamp is just perfect for a party card! I colored it with Copic markers and then foiled the card with some Nuvo Gilding Flakes. It can be messy but it really is fun to use. Turned out really shiny and pretty too!

For my next card, I used this new stamp "You are Forever Beautiful" and stamped it on watercolor cardstock. I grabbed only 3 Tim Holtz Distress inks to paint this in. You don't need many colors, and if you have limited budget, you could just grab 3 primary colors (red,yellow,blue) to mix new colors together. Just smoosh the inks on your craft mat, add some water and paint away!

For my next card, I LOVE this new "Focus on the Things" stamp - it is SO pretty coz I love vintage cameras! I colored it with Prismacolor colored pencils and then die cut it with Kat Scrappiness cross stitched rectangle die.

Then, it's time to create the rainbow border around the card --- with an old makeup brush! :) Yups!! Many of us struggle with ink blending, creating this effortless-no harsh lines blend but it is difficult. So, I tried it with my old makeup brush and it worked! No harsh lines and easy to blend too with my Tim Holtz distress oxide inks.

And for my final card, I used the background stamp "Obssessed with Floral". This stamp is perfect to make a quick card if you can't think of any designs for your card. But you can also use it differently, as what I did here. I painted the entire piece in with my Adornit watercolors and split it into 3 panels. The sentiment is from MFT Stamps "Sending Hugs" die cut; which I cut with some holographic cardstock.

You know how cute Tierra Jackson Cuddlebugs are.. so here are some brand NEW ones released! I am starting off with the cute bunny cuddlebug. I stamp and colored it with Copic markers, then I die cut it with Stitched Scalloped Nesting Tags Dies by Kat Scrappiness.

Then, it's time to create the rainbow glitter stripes! I used lots of Tim Holtz distress glitters [Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass, Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves] along with Thermoweb Mixed Media adhesive. Glitters are always a fun addition to any scrappy project!

For my next card, here's the cute puppy cuddlebug. *bark*bark*!

I stamped and colored him with Copic markers and then it's time to create the fun rainbow confetti background using Tim Holtz distress oxide inks and a pencil! Yes, a pencil! Just watch the video to see how I did this.

This little piggy, went to the market.. *oink oink*

Next up is this piggy cuddlebug. I colored him with Copic markers as well, then I created my very own unique DIY stencil pattern using some washi and Tim Holtz distress ink. Imagine all the possibilities of designs you can create!

And the last cuddlebug is this cute kitty. Love how furry he is! *haha*!

I painted a simple watercolor scene using Prima confections watercolor "Pastel Dreams". Sometimes, simple is good, don't you think?

Here's one for the holidays! I have seen so many pretty creations using kraft cardstock so I just had to try. Just stamp and color it using some colored pencils :) Easy peezy!

Happy mid-week my scrappy friends! I am on the Kat Scrappiness blog today -- sharing with you a fun card I made using the Lawn Fawn "Bicycle Built for You" stamp set, dies and Kat Scrappiness sequins.

So, I first stamped all the cute critters, couple and fun elements on a white cardstock -- then colored it with my Copic markers. You can then cut them all out using the Bicycle Built for You Lawn Cuts (Dies) by Lawn Fawn. I also die cut out the white picket fence and road using the Lawn Cuts Little Picket Fence Border & Lawn Cuts Road Border by Lawn Fawn.

Then, it's time to assemble everything! Just have fun and create whatever scene you like :) I also inked the background with some Tim Holtz distress oxide inks to create the sky & grass. And finally, it's a MUST to add some Kat's pretty sequins coz they are just SO pretty! Here I am using some Rock Candy Sequin Mix by Kat Scrappiness.

I made this fall-themed pumpkin spice latte (although I've never had one before in my life!) card using the NEW "Fall to Go" kit by Unity Stamp. Don't you think this stamp is just so so PRETTY? I stamped and colored it with my Copic markers, then die cut it using the Fancy Scalloped Stitched Border die by Kat Scrappiness; which I then inked the edges using my Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink [Wild Honey]. I LOVE that the border dies are so versatile and adds a fancy edge to the card.

Then, it's time to bling up the edge of my card with Sequins & Bits - Custom Sequin Mixes & Shaker Card Fillers – Kat Scrappiness. If you know me by now, I am in LOVE with Kat's sequin mixes coz they are just so pretty and she has such a HUGE variety with so many different colors and shapes. It's just a WOW for me.

Happy Sunday!

I am sharing my DT project on Kat Scrappiness blog today; where I made a shaker card using some NEW Kat Scrappiness dies.

The NEW Gift Bag Die by Kat Scrappiness is so much fun -- you could make just gift bags alone or like me here, I did a shaker gift bag on a card. I used some Dear Lizzy "Happy Place" patterned papers and decided to do a shaker window using the Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Square Dies by Kat Scrappiness . I used two different sizes of the squares to create the window. Then I filled it up with lots of pretty Sequins & Bits - Custom Sequin Mixes & Shaker Card Fillers by Kat Scrappiness [Teal/Pink Woodgrain, Breezy Summer, Green AB Leaves].

I also created a small interactive (instructional) tag using the Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Oval Dies by Kat Scrappiness and Interactive Card Instructions 3x4 Clear Stamps by Kat Scrappiness . This stamp set is so useful! Coz you know how cards can be so confusing to the recipients at times :)

Then finally, I die cut the card front using the Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangle Dies by Kat Scrappiness and then decorated the card using Nuvo Glitter Drop [Sherbert Shimmer] .
