I am sharing my Design Team post over at the SVG Attic blog  ---  a shaker clam shell box I made using CG Under the Sea kit.

This clam shell box is so unique because it mimics the porthole AND it is a SHAKER "card" box.

I added some under the sea creatures stamps from Sweet Stamp Shop's Between You & Me set that I have colored and cut out to adhere onto the base. Then I added a multi-colored glitter as the shaker element.

Then I used the Ranger Dylusion ink sprays [Funky Fucsia / Fresh Lime / Lemon Zest / Vibrant Turquoise] to mist and splatter the background.  I also added some water to make it look more fluid :)

Then I die cut the "happy" word from Heidi Swapp in some gold foam glitter.

I cut out the base card along with the rainbow, which I have glittered up with some WOW chunky Glitter to make it all so colorful and fun :) Then I stamped a Unity Stamp sentiment on some gold foiled cardstock with white Hero Arts pigment ink.

Next, I stamped the unicorn and clouds from Sweet Stamp Shop and colored them with my Copic markers. I adhered them to some plastic transparency (or any plastic packaging scrap will do) and glued them to the rainbow so that they seem to be flying through the air :)

I am sharing over at the SVG Attic blog a beary sweet birthday card I made for a friend's daughter who is turning 1 soon! :)

I used the JGW Beary Sweet kit -- which is one of my all time favorites!! I turned the bear into a girl bear (notice the bow on her head instead? hehe) and gave it an all pink makeover with lots of Dear Lizzy papers!

I added some alpha die cut glitter letters using the Echo Park designer dies - Linday lowercase alphabet die set (which is so so pretty, don't you think?). I also added lots of bling and a tissue garland.

It's the weekend! Time to let loose and just RELAX.

It's also time for some Inspiration Time over at The Cutting Cafe blog.

This week the DT team chicks are making projects from the 3 tier cake box. 

This kit has SO MANY possibilities and I've always wanted to make a wedding cake.

Since I cannot bake or decorate one, why not make a PAPER wedding cake instead? :)

I made the 3 tiers with white cardstock and decorated the trims with silver glitter tape. Then I went on a flower frenzy and added all kinds -- sticking to peach, pink and cream colors.

Can you believe that almost half a year has just gone by? *phew*

I'm up on the SVG Attic blog and I'm here to share a baby mini album I made for my friend, Michelle, who is pregnant with twins. Yup, twins! :)

And with the album, I made this pretty box to gift it to her too.

I used the pie box from Holly's Holiday Gift Boxes. I love this box because you can see through it and it's a nice size for the album. 

To decorate the box, I took the pieces from the mobile centerpiece (Baby Boy & Baby Girl kit) and glittered them up before I strung them with some twine.

For the sides of the box, I used this cute critters washi tape :)

And here's the baby album I made -- which is 6"x6" in size.

I used lots of papers from Crate Paper, Kaisercraft, Pebbles, Elle's Studio, Simple Stories, Fancy Pants and Heidi Swapp.

I also made a simple tag-card with some Sweet Stamp Shop boy/girl stamps :)

I am sharing a fun cute party gift bag I made using the SDS Birthday Bash kit on the SVG Attic blog.

I made this cute bag with the Balloon Spiral Card as a decorative piece on the front. I added a backing piece + a doily and I cut the balloon out with some gold foiled cardstock. Then I finished  it up with some cute pink ribbon -- and ta-da! 

All ready to PAR-TAY!

I'm up on SVG Attic blog and I'd like to share with you a box card I made using Cyndy's first kit "CG Box Cards" -- she designed for SVG Attic. This kit is AMAZING if you've not seen it. So much variety and love every card in the kit.

I chose the Race Box Card which is not only perfect for boys, but BIG boys too (yups, lots of men are in love with cars hehe). I even "stole" my hubby's toys to do my photo op.

I added some Tim Holtz washi tape with the names of places, some arrows and if you are a fan of Initial D, you'd know what 86 means :)

So, here's the fun box card I made with all the fun balloons and stars. 

I tied each balloon with some Trendy Twine and glittered up the stars with some Distress Stickles.

I also added some glitter and foil washi tape at the sides to add more shine to the card.

Pssssstttt.... This kit (and the rest of the store) is having a HUGE SALES right now.

Happy Chinese New Year! 

It's the FIRST day of the lunar new year and right now, I'm meeting up with loved ones and feasting away :)

So, to usher in the beautiful new year, I made this bouquet of lilies from JGW Flower Boxcard Bouquets for my DT post on the SVG Attic blog.

I chose RED because it is the traditional colors for the new year and it's BRIGHT! :)

I also handwritten the word 福 which means fortune or good luck and embossed it in gold on the tag. I also added some Viva Decor liquid pearls and tied it with some Trendy Twine in Lemon Peppermint.

I know I've not been posting that frequently recently... so I'm back with a fun Inspiration Time with The Cutting Cafe.

This week we are using the BIG Expressions kits and this Sweet Big Expression Printable & Cutting File is just perfect for Valentine.

So, the fun part about this file is, I made 3 cards from just 1 cut! 

Talk about saving time :)

Perfect for those of us who are busy but need multiple cards.

So, here's how I did it.

First I cut the SWEET word on a white cardstock. 

Using the "blanks" as a see through, I backed it with some sweet pink Crate Paper patterned papers from the Hello Love collection. Then I just added another patterned paper along with some pearls using my Viva Decor paper pen.

For my next card, I used the letters that were cut from my first card as a mask. I adhered it using some temporary adhesive and inked the background with some Tim Holtz distress ink {abandoned coral & picked raspberry}. Then I removed the mask and revealed the white words! :)

And for my final card, I used the words from my second card which acted as a mask as the letters instead! Since it's all inked up nicely, it makes a sweet ombre effect on a simple background with heart stamps from The Ton.

For my first card, I am using this cute bunny from Susan Weckesser's Bunny Hugs kit.

I stamped the flowers and mushrooms at the bottom and inked some grass with Mama Elephant Lemongrass ink.

Since puffy stickers are trending now, I created this puffy stamp with some Glossy Accents. I applied it after I colored in the image using my Copic markers.

For my next card, I used this awesome birthday cake from the "Include Yourself in Beauty" kit.

I created this easy polka dots pattern just by using the end of my Trendy Twine Planner Addict pencil, the eraser part and dipping it into my Distress Ink pads. *dab dab dab* and here you go!

I cut the Happy word using some glitter foam and Heidi Swapp's die cut. The beautiful papers are by Crate Paper Maggie Holme's Confetti collection.

And for my final card, I am using this birthday cake stamp from the "Another Year Older" kit.

I painted the stripes using my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors, which I absolutely LOVE because the colors are so pretty. Then I added some Ranger's Perfect Pearls to add the pearl shine on the card. See how shiny it is? :)
