Oh my, how time flies right? 

It's already mid-year and today I got a little busy in my scrappy room, churning out some cards and NEW VIDEOS for you coz, the NEW release from Unity Stamp is just FABULOUS!

Many of you have been requesting planner stamps, and so -- your wish has come true!

(Pssst, planner stamps are also great on cards too!)

Let's just get started and off to the cards and videos for today.

For my first card, I am using the BRAND NEW Planner Gal: Be a Beauty -- which is SO SO Pretty, don't you think? I stamped then colored her with my Prima watercolors [Pastel Dream]. I decided to do some partial embossing using my Tim Holtz Sizzix embossing folder [Texture Fades] and then colored it using my pretty Nuvo Mousse [Peony Pink, Aquamarine and Indian Gold] by just using my fingers. It is so metallic and shiny in real life!

For my next card, I used the NEW Planner Gal : Don't be Perfect stamp, and stamped her onto some Bazill kraft cardstock. Don't you think she is so cute?

 Then I decided to use my Kuretake Gansai Tambi [starry colors] watercolor and just paint the entire card in GOLD! Coz seriously, who doesn't like Gold? :) 

These watercolors are just pure heaven! SO SO shiny and metallic.

Psssttt, did you know that all the sentiment kits are on sale this weekend?

Here's a card I made using the brand NEW July 2017 Sentiment Kit: Hugs, Kisses & Birthday Wishes -- just check out how cute the owl is with all the balloons!

I colored him in using my Copic markers, then I decided to add some glitter to the balloons using Tim Holtz distress stickles dry glitter [Clear Rock Candy]. This glitter is just AMAZING!!! It is so glittery, and looks like sugar frosting on a cupcake. I used the Thermoweb iCraft mixed media adhesive to apply the glitter onto my card.

And for my final card, I used the NEW Planner Gal: Love Them stamp and colored her in with Copic markers. For the background, I was totally inspired by all the bible journaling ladies out there -- I had to try it out for myself too! I used an old gift card (you can use a credit card, a membership card... any card!) with some Tim Holtz distress paints [Wild honey, Spun Sugar, Mustard Seed, Cracked Pistachio]. I just scraped the paints onto my card and wa-la!! :)

Happy weekend my dear scrappy friends :)

I was looking at my Instagram feed and noticing lots of succulent creations. So, I headed to my scrappy room and took out my Unity Stamp Succulent Salutations [June 2016 Sentiment kit] to make a succulent creation of my own!

I did a few layers (and colors) of embossing here. First I did the succulents in gold, then the sentiment in black and finally the tiny succulents all in the background with clear embossing. Once that's done, all I did was swipe a few of my Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks on my craft mat, spritzed it with water and smooshed it on my card! :) To avoid getting your colors muddy, don't over mix the colors and do dry in between layers.

Then I cut the kraft patterned paper with Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched rectangle die, and inked the edges of my card base with Versamagic Gold ink. I also added some Nuvo Pale Gold crystal drop and Nuvo Sugared Almond gloss crystal drop.

I started off with the brown Unity tag and added the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Melange Tissue wrap paper. Then I added the colors to it using Tim Holtz distress paints [Picked Raspberry and Chipped Saphire]. Once that is all dried, I added my stamped and water-colored Lions and sentiment from the Adore in every Way kit.

For this card, I stamped and colored the beautiful humming bird from the "No One Sweeter" kit and colored it with my Copic markers. Then it's time to create the fun "splatters" using a straw and some watercolor. Yups! A straw :) Just watch the video and see how I did the straw blow painting.

For this card, I have stamped and colored "Lauren Girl"  using Copic markers and left the flower uncolored. I am going to create my own DIY copic glitter, so I put some glossy accent to the flower and sprinkled some Tim Holtz distress stickles [Clear Rock Candy] on it. Once it is dried, I colored the glitter using a Copic marker. 

How this differ from coloring the flower first with the Copic marker and sprinkling glitter on top is: The glitter's color is more true to the Copic color, and appears more vibrant :)

I wanted to create a fun and different card, from what I usually create -- so here's a see through panel card! :) Do watch my video on how I created the card. I am using the beautiful bird from the "My Little Birdie" kit and I die cut it using Kat Scrappiness double stitched circle die.

And for my final card, I wanted to use another household item to create a fun background. Seriously, you don't need expensive craft items to create fun projects :) Here I am using cotton buds and Mama Elephant pigment inks to create the background. Do watch the video to see how I did it!

The cute chicks are from the "Chick Time" kit, which I have colored in with my Copic markers then die cutting my card using Kat Scrappiness stitched fancy scalloped rectangle die.

I am loving this graduation "You did Good" kit. There is also a gal-version "Graduation Wishes".

I thought it would be fun to give him a funky graduation gown by foiling it up using Prima rub-on foil and Thermoweb DecoFoil adhesive. I also added some Tim Holtz distress inks at the bottom of the card to ground it.

For my next card, I wanted to do something simple and FUN-ny :)

The "Sorry it stinks" set is just perfect together with my Sweet Stamp Shop Poop Washi. 

I also used Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Rectangle die to cut the stamp out.

And for my final card for today, I used "Kara and Melissa Girls" and gave them some tie-dyed tshirts using Ken Oliver's Color Bursts! Pretty fun to play with ;)

Then I added some Nuvo Jewel Drops -- SO SO pretty!

I am using this new stamp Not Always .. But and I am LOVING it. You know how it is so difficult to make masculine cards with unicorns and rainbows.. so this stamp is just perfect!

I created the Distress Swirls with some Tim Holtz distress inks and water. Easy peezy! :)

My next card, I am using this NEW cute stamp The Pits -- which I have colored in using my Gansai Tambi watercolors, creating some ombre stripes too.

For my next card, I used the Beginnings & Growths stamp and colored it with Gansai Tambi watercolors and also the metallic set "Starry Colors". Love how shiny they are! 

So I created the peekaboo part using a Sizzix/Ellison die and lots of washi. A fun way to add some interest to your card!

So, unicorns are like so trending right now -- here's a brand new one called Unicorns and Glitter , and it is fantastic! I had fun coloring in her hair with all different bright colors with my Copic markers, then I glittered up the entire card with some Tim Holtz distress glitter "Picked Raspberry".

This new Phyllis Harris Valentine's stamp Will you be mine is such a cutie, don't you think? I colored her in with Copic markers then it's time to do some foiling! I added the Thermoweb Decofoil using some liquid adhesive and created the brush on effect. Do watch the video to see how I did it :)
