Christmas is over but hey... New Year is coming! I am definitely looking forward to a brand new 2014.

Here's my layout for Christmas :)

The border hearts on the right I cut it out with my Cameo - then lined it with some pink snowflakes paper, and cut again with the darker pink paper to line it. I then added some Freckled Fawn star stickers to the hearts.

Here's a close up.

And of course, I used some yummy Unity stamps too. I added some Distress Glitter to the "joy" word and colored the stamps in with Copic markers.

My layout is inspired by Unity's sketch challenge for this month.

I've also stamped some of my Christmas Unity stamps onto white cardstock and colored them in with my Copics. These would go into my Project Life nicely :)

Here's wishing you a HAPPY 2014 to come.

I colored them in with some distress markers and Copics. The sentiment stamp is from Unity Stamp inked in gold. I also added some Stickles for the snow.

Fancy making your very own snowglobes? This year I decided to make some of my own with some very simple supplies.

1. Get your scrappy supplies: Clean jars / Sequins / Sugar Dust (or any glitter) / Hot Glue Gun / Plastic ornament / Ribbon

2. Hot glue your plastic ornament onto the lid of the jar and let dry.

3. Fill your jar about 3/4 with water (enough to cover your ornament).

4. Fill it with as much glitter and sequins as you want. Some would add glycerin to let the glitter fall slower - but I didn't and it was still fine.

5. Screw the lid of the jar back on. If you want to avoid leakage and be extra secured - put some hot glue around the inside of the lid before you screw it on.

6. Tie a ribbon on your jar and you have your very own snowglobe!!

Now, go make some of your own snowglobes today and impress your friends when they come over for Christmas! :)

Can you believe that Christmas is less than a month away?? *WOW*

Today I created a festive card for Sister Act Card Challenge #35. It's a simple white on white with a snowflake as the focal point. The stamps are from Unity Stamp {Snowflake kisses} and {Ornamental Season}

I stamped the snowflake in embossing ink and glittered it with Distress Glitter {Tumbled glass}.

I was inspired by the element challenge by Festive Friday

It's another Linky Party at All That Stickles!

Here are the details for the current Linky Party
-----------------------------------------------------------
Saturday November 23rd - Friday December 6th

THEME: Holiday Home Decor

Create a home decor piece for either Thanksgiving, Christmas, or other winter holiday (Hanukkah, New Year's Eve, etc.) Ideas: centerpieces, banners, ornaments, door hangers, place cards, wall art, etc.
***

I have a holiday home decor for Christmas - my most favorite holiday of the year! I've always admired Christmas wreaths and this year - I made one of my own!

I actually feel so happy with the end result - I love it! After hours of pain-stakingly pinning the ribbons to the straw wreath - I finally did it! :)

Here's a close up of it - where I used Champagne Stickles on the sentiment which has orange glitter on it too.

Now go, link up your Holiday Home Decor projects HERE and stand a chance to win some amazing prizes from our sponsors! :)

It's my second Friday Feature on Housecalls by Scrappin Madge and today I have a quick mini album for you.

I am using Adorn It {Bumble Bee Cut apart} which has journal cards that are 4x6. I cut those out and made every page using that - and cut out papers from Authentique's Thankful collection as mats. I've sewed each page with my sewing machine and added the washi tape + tag (from Carta Bella). Also added are the pretty flair buttons! I punched a hole at the top and thread a ribbon through - and I am done!

Here are the inside pages.

Here's the kit that I used for this mini album. You can subscribe the November's Harvest Tradition kit here.

Come back next week for my final Friday Feature !
