It's GEARS and Birthday...

Happy birthday to my Big Brother. He celebrated his birthday few weeks back and I made this manly card for him :)

I've used the Gears Set embossing texture fade folder by Tim Holtz and distressed it with some distress inks. Don't you just LOVE those gears?

The sentiment is from Unity Stamp "Party All Day" kit.

And since I had a special request from Rebecca on how I made this card, here's a quick tutorial! :)
Hope this helps.

If you like the video, don't forget to SUBSCRIBE and give a THUMBS UP! :)
Thanks and have a great week.

OH boy! Am I excited or what?

The Cutting Cafe has this AMAZING Planner Set and for today, the DT is assigned this set for Inspiration Time.

This is my FIRST ever self-made planner and I absolutely LOVE it!! I am definitely going to use this to plan all my scrappy things for next year.

I've made the planner to be about 8.5" x 6.5" in size and filled it with pages that I will only use.
There are lots more to this planner set and you will definitely love it as much as I do :)

*** Warning: This is a HEAVY PHOTO Post today. Please bear with me :) ***

I've made the front cover with some mistable paper and heavy chipboard -- which I've spritzed with lots of Heidi Swapp color shine. Because the glitter may be transferred onto my hands due to heavy usage - I have adhered an acetate sheet on both the front/back covers.

To bind the planner, I used my Big Crop-a-dile to punch holes throughout the planner and bound them with some ring binders.

I've also added some ribbons and charms to the ring binders to soften the look :)

***

Now, for the insides!!
I've added cardstock, glitter tape, patterned paper, stickers, enamel dots, tags, pockets... anything and everything.

I just had so MUCH FUN!

Now, can 2015 come a little faster please? :)

Today I have been asked by Doris of Crafting by Designs to Guest Design for their challenge "Vintage/Shabby Chic". Click HERE to see the challenge.

I do not do this style often and thought it'd be fun to challenge myself... so here's my card!

I decided to go for the somewhat distressed look with a few pop of colors. I stamped the Unity Stamp sentiment in gold ink while adding some pearls, a few 3d elements and a doily to soften it all up.

Hope you like my card and Thanks for visiting! :)

Happy Wednesday to you! It's Inspiration time at The Cutting Cafe.

How many times do you have to give somebody their photos on a CD and it comes in some not-so-appealing CD case?

Good news is, The Cutting Cafe has this awesome CD holder set. Here's what I made!

The cute little chick is from Unity Stamp "Hey Birthday chick" where I added some Stickles to the balloons.

Here it is with a CD inside! :) Perfect sized too.

It's time to Hip Hop with the Unity chicks again and I have a Youtube Video Tutorial to share with you with using the "Gelatos Drip technique".

Here's the card I made with the "Let your inner beauty shine" kit and this image is just sooooo awesome, don't you think?

I've used some Gelatos by Faber Castell to create the background

Please click below to watch the step-by-step tutorial on how to make this card or watch it HERE on Youtube.

I've also made a quick birthday card for a friend of mine using the past SOTW "3 shrooms". Thought it was appropriate since he likes mushrooms :)

***

And this Project Life weekly title card is made using the KOTM "Beautiful Inside out" and the SMAK kit "All in the numbers". I colored the flowers with some Distress markers and glittered it up with some Stickles. The large tag is also from the SMAK kit! :)
