The Trendy Twine DT has some inspirations for you!

I made this Spider Treat Box by Cutting Cafe using a pretty unconventional color for a spider (tee hee!) and wrapped lots of Trendy Twine in Grape Licorice on its legs.

I also added some cotton and sequins for that extra spookiness!

Happy Friday. I am sharing on the Trendy Twine blog today my weekly spread in my MAMBI Happy Planner for Halloween!

Although I don't celebrate it, it's still super cute to decorate for the holiday.

I am using the Check it Off Planner stamp set (which is popular and back in stock!!) for my spread.

Oh and those cute pencils? They are the Planner Addict pencil & Planning makes me happy pencil. Super cute right?!

Here are the cards I made up close:

For my first card, I embossed the image in white from the "Moon Beams and Heart Strings" kit and colored them in with my Tinge markers -- and I added glossy accents to it to mask it. 

For the sentiment, I embossed it in gold and cut a scrap piece of paper to mask it.

For the background, I used Tim Holtz distress inks {broken china, mermaid lagoon, blueprint sketch} and inked it up! 

I'm not really a fan of blue colors, but I actually like this! :)

For my second card, I stamped the "He's a Wordy Buck" stamp onto white cardstock and colored him in with my Colleen colored pencils. I then blended the colors in with a simple solution: baby oil and cotton buds! :)

He's mighty handsome, don't you think? :)

And for my final card, I got my WOW! Glitters for some time now and finally found time to play with them! I stamped them with embossing ink and layered it with Stamp n Bond powder (which acts like a glue). Then I poured the glitter on the stamp from the "Now & Always" kit.

Today, the DT ladies of SVG Attic (that's me included!) decided to make some cards to welcome the newest addition to the family.

A BIG Congrats to Mike & Kenzie, the owners of SVG Attic, on their new baby!

I can't wait to see cute baby photos soon.

So, here's the card I made for them. Hope they like it :)

I used the JGW Spring Canisters Andy top fold card and turned it into a baby card with a bib! :)

The sentiment is partially handwritten by me and stamped with some Sweet Stamp Shop stamps.

Good Monday!

Over the weekend, I did my first wedding decor gig and was pretty nervous but it all turned out great!

The bride contacted me months ago coz she saw my work and liked it. I was pretty apprehensive at first as the only wedding decor I did was my own, but she had faith in me. Thanks babe!

So, here's what I made!

I used the SDS 3D Box Letters kit to make this Mr & Mrs signage. 

I glued the letters together and added lots of glitter to it! 

I also used the tuxedo and wedding gown from the JGW Wedding Wishes box card.

Then I also did the photo booth backdrop with lots of handmade tissue pom poms and paper rossettes.

I also decorated the photo display corner with doilies and tissue tassel garlands and the marquee in their initials!

Am very glad the couple liked it! *yay*!

Unity Stamp has a brand new Stamp of the Week and I love this bluebird. 

I stamped him on some white cardstock and colored it with my Colleen colored pencils. Then I punched the borders and added some Viva Decor Gold paper pen for gold pearls.

I also used the DCVW Happy day stack papers which had some gold foil in it too!

I feel excited making my first post over at the Trendy Twine blog and able to play with all the awesome Trendy Twine!

Here's what I made today using LOTS and LOTS of yummy Twine!

I made the tassel spooky ghost with a mix of Grape Licorice Trendy Twine, Orangesicle Trendy Twine and Limeade Trendy Twine where I just added some pop up foam as the eyes since I don't have any googly eyes!

I made these truffle candy box from the SVG Attic Sweet Shop party kit and used the Grape Licorice Trendy Twine to tie them up!

My first card I stamped the leaves from SMAK 09/15 No clue how beautiful with the Faber Castell Gelatos [mango/metallic melon/raspberry].

Just color your stamps with the Gelatos and spritz some water before stamping onto your carstock for that watercolor effect look!

My next card, I did some basic Copic coloring since some of you did request to see more of this! :)

This awesome sundae image is from KOM 07/15 Halo Dirty

I also added some clear Wink of Stella onto the colored image for that extra bling and also stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment onto some vellum.

The HAPPY word is a die by Heidi Swapp where I ran some gold cardstock through my Sizzix Big Shot.

Hey yo! 

It's a Saturday and I just thought I'd post a positive note with a beautiful butterfly -- which is also the brand new Stamp of the Week (SOTW) at Unity Stamp.

I colored the butterfly with my Gansai Tambi watercolors and added some MT washi tape as the borders. I am definitely inspired to color more with Kathy Rac's #thedailymarker30day3 challenge.

Oh yes, I am a bit behind on decorating my planner.

Weirdly this month I feel like I'm SO busy but my planner is rather empty. 

So what do I do?

I do my Bible art journaling in my planner! :) 

I created the background with yummy Distress Paints [Broken China // Shaded Lilac] then I wrote and stamped some words using Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart & lean not on your own understanding".

I also added some chipboard stickers to the verse to add some dimension.

I am really loving this Bible journaling in my planner!

 Really makes up for all the empty spaces :)

In this kit, there are three 2D cards and I made the snowman and penguin cards.

The sentiments used on both cards are from Unity Stamp.

And the penguin card - where I made a twine pom pom for his hat using Trendy Twine's Holly Berry twine.

Sandy Allnock is giving a week of FREE class #goforthegoldclass on her blog here and since I love GOLD, I just had to make something right? :)

I was inspired by her Day 4: Liquid Gold class and I made this snowmen card! 

I used the Snow Way kit by Susan W / Unity Stamp.

The aurora background is painted with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and since I don't have any liquid gold, I used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi metallic gold watercolor to paint in the gold flakes and  snowmen :) I spritzed the background with some Heidi Swapp gold mist.
