The first card I made is using the new Phyllis Harris "Feathers, Wings & Refuge Kit". Can I say how much I love this kit? The Bible verse is just so comforting, letting us know that HE is always with us through even the darkest times.
I colored the stamp with my Copic markers, then it's time to add some sunburst sunray! I didn't have a stencil so I made my own pattern using -- yups -- washi tape! Watch the VIDEO to see how I did it.
I painted the rays with some Tonic Studios Nuvo Glimmer Paste [Golden Crystal] and Tonic Studios Nuvo Mousse [Indian Gold]. LOVE the gold and glitter! :)
Then I die cut the image using Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fancy Scalloped Rectangle die.

For my next card, I used the Phyllis Harris "Part of Us" kit. And since I wanted the rainbow to be the spotlight, I colored the entire image in using my cool gray Copic markers --- creating a black and white scene! Then I diecut it using Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Rectangle die.
Don't you think the dog-cat stamp is just so sweet?

So, I just HAD to make another Christmas card right? *LOL*
Here I am using the Phyllis Harris "Best of Friends" kit, which I colored in using my Copic markers.
Then I decided to make some snow of my own using some Flocking Powder in white/blue/purple. I first fill up the spaces I wanted the snow in with Thermoweb Mixed Media Adhesive, then just sprinkled the flocking powder all over it.
I then die cut it using my favorite Kat Scrappiness Postage Stamp Rectangle Die and added some "White Blizzard" Tonic Studios Nuvo Glitter drop
I couldn't really capture it properly on camera, but in real -- it's velvety and pretty!

For my final card, I used the Phyllis Harris "So Lucky to have you" kit and colored the image in using my Copic markers. Then, it's time to create the metallic watercolor galaxy sky!
I painted the sky with some dark colors of my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors, then swiped some gold watercolors from the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors set to create the bold contrast. I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!
Then I die cut the piece using Gina Marie Designs Scalloped Stitched Die.
This new release has just got to be so adorable and precious. Do SHOP at Unity Stamp now! :)
