It's a holiday for us here today, so WOO HOO -- more time to do my scrappy projects.

Here's one I made using the Unity Stamp's Stamp of the Week "Springtime Owl". 

I colored the Owl in using Copic markers -- to match the Crate Paper patterned paper I used. Then I did some die cuts using the Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Rectangle Die and the Gina Marie Stitched Scallop Circle Frame Die.

But hey.. don't worry bout it.

Happy Monday! I made a card for my DT post on the SVG Attic blog today using the brand new JGW Sewn from the Heart kit.

I used the Cathedral Window 9-patch card and instead of folding the circles inwards, I did it outwards to create a different look. I also chose different patterned papers from the same collection so it would look cohesive. Here I am using "Open Book" by Crate Paper.

Then I added the new "Tea Time" set from Sweet Stamp Shop, which I have already stamped, fussy cut and colored withy my copics.

When I saw this Unity Stamp Stamp of the Week (SOTW), I just had to make a card with it. 

So pretty don't you think?

I stamped her on some white cardstock then colored with my Copics. I always love my Copics because you can achieve really nice blended colors. I then added some Viva Decor liquid pearls for that extra shine.

Personally I'm not a coffee drinker -- but I do enjoy a cuppa once in a while. I like tea and chocolate better! :) How about you?

Can you believe that almost half a year has just gone by? *phew*

I'm up on the SVG Attic blog and I'm here to share a baby mini album I made for my friend, Michelle, who is pregnant with twins. Yup, twins! :)

And with the album, I made this pretty box to gift it to her too.

I used the pie box from Holly's Holiday Gift Boxes. I love this box because you can see through it and it's a nice size for the album. 

To decorate the box, I took the pieces from the mobile centerpiece (Baby Boy & Baby Girl kit) and glittered them up before I strung them with some twine.

For the sides of the box, I used this cute critters washi tape :)

And here's the baby album I made -- which is 6"x6" in size.

I used lots of papers from Crate Paper, Kaisercraft, Pebbles, Elle's Studio, Simple Stories, Fancy Pants and Heidi Swapp.

I also made a simple tag-card with some Sweet Stamp Shop boy/girl stamps :)

This stamp is from the Kinda Sorta Miss You kit and I colored him in with my Copic markers. For the background, I did some embossing with Darice "Dandelion Flowers" embossing folder and Hero Arts Shadow inks.

Here's my next card!

I used the NEW Gianna Girl designed by Angie Blom and colored her in with my Copic markers. Don't you think she looks FABULOUS?

For the background I inked it up with lots of Tim Holtz distress ink {Abandoned Coral} and then used the TCW "Mini Daisy Cluster" stencil to get the negative image.

And for my final card, I was going for a polaroid concept! :)

Here I used the "Head up Heart Strong" stamp by Phyllis Harris and colored her in with Tsukineko Versa Magic chalk inks! It's always fun to use different mediums to color.

And hey... BECAUSE It is Unity's BIRTHDAY, I made this tag with the "Everyday Celebration" stamp!

I know I've not been posting that frequently recently... so I'm back with a fun Inspiration Time with The Cutting Cafe.

This week we are using the BIG Expressions kits and this Sweet Big Expression Printable & Cutting File is just perfect for Valentine.

So, the fun part about this file is, I made 3 cards from just 1 cut! 

Talk about saving time :)

Perfect for those of us who are busy but need multiple cards.

So, here's how I did it.

First I cut the SWEET word on a white cardstock. 

Using the "blanks" as a see through, I backed it with some sweet pink Crate Paper patterned papers from the Hello Love collection. Then I just added another patterned paper along with some pearls using my Viva Decor paper pen.

For my next card, I used the letters that were cut from my first card as a mask. I adhered it using some temporary adhesive and inked the background with some Tim Holtz distress ink {abandoned coral & picked raspberry}. Then I removed the mask and revealed the white words! :)

And for my final card, I used the words from my second card which acted as a mask as the letters instead! Since it's all inked up nicely, it makes a sweet ombre effect on a simple background with heart stamps from The Ton.

For my first card, I am using this cute bunny from Susan Weckesser's Bunny Hugs kit.

I stamped the flowers and mushrooms at the bottom and inked some grass with Mama Elephant Lemongrass ink.

Since puffy stickers are trending now, I created this puffy stamp with some Glossy Accents. I applied it after I colored in the image using my Copic markers.

For my next card, I used this awesome birthday cake from the "Include Yourself in Beauty" kit.

I created this easy polka dots pattern just by using the end of my Trendy Twine Planner Addict pencil, the eraser part and dipping it into my Distress Ink pads. *dab dab dab* and here you go!

I cut the Happy word using some glitter foam and Heidi Swapp's die cut. The beautiful papers are by Crate Paper Maggie Holme's Confetti collection.

And for my final card, I am using this birthday cake stamp from the "Another Year Older" kit.

I painted the stripes using my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors, which I absolutely LOVE because the colors are so pretty. Then I added some Ranger's Perfect Pearls to add the pearl shine on the card. See how shiny it is? :)

I created some gelly roll flowers with my Sakura Glaze and Souffle pens for that 3D effect. These pens are really addictive and the colors are brilliant. I also used the new papers by Crate Paper "Hello Love".

For my next card, I wanted to do something different (plus I had tons of sequins!)

This cute pair of hedgehogs are from the 'Love you every day' kit which I colored in with my Copic markers. Then I created the sequin border with pink/red/silver and just arranged it to get a fun border. It's a great way to clear your stash of sequins too :)

I made both these cards using the color scheme for the new Unity {be inspired} challenge
