[NEW VIDEO] Unity Stamp and Misti Blog Hop
Hi my scrappy friends :)
Today's hop is an EXTRA special one because it is the Unity Stamp and My Sweet Petunia Blog hop!
My Mini Misti was generously sponsored by My Sweet Petunia and I am LOVING my stamping tool A LOT!! Seriously, I cannot stamp without it these days.
If you've never heard of the Misti, it is the Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented. Iliana Myska created this stamping tool and I am sure that MANY are so ever grateful to her for helping us with our stamping dilemmas!
And of coz, by now, you should already know I am on the Unity Stamp Design Team and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Unity stamps. My first ever rubber stamps were from Unity and I have not stopped crafting without them. They have the best quality of red rubber and one of the largest stamp store with the MOST varieties of designs! Angela Magnuson is our fearless and kind-hearted leader. LOVE her to bits!

Now, onto the NEW VIDEOS and cards I made for this hop. I have FOUR to show you today, all using the beautiful Unity stamps and my Mini Misti.
You can also connect with my on Instagram (@scrappyscrappy_)
So, let's get started!

Have you always wished you could flip your stamp the opposite way? Well, your wishes just came true with the NEW Unity Mirrored Stamping tool! Seriously, you probably got to watch the video to believe it :) Oh, imagine all the possibilities!
For this card, I used the Bunny Hugs by Susan Weckesser and flipped the cute bunny! I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black ink to get better and clearer results. Then I colored the card with my Colleen colored pencils and added my favorite Nuvo Jewel drops.

For my next card, I first stamped the little girl/dog stamp from the Full of Happy Hugs Phyllis Harris kit and then masked it before I started stamping the sentiment. Using the Misti helped a lot in getting the stamping straight and also the distance between very consistent. I used the grid lines printed on my Misti to help guide me :)

Oh and what does a Misti does best? Create multiple cards with breeze! :)
It helped me create this 3 cards so quickly and getting all my positions the same exact spot, so all my cards look the same without me having to re-arrange every time I stamp!
I used the beautiful stamps from JO-MA's kit Better with Friends and stamped them with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks. These inks are just soooooo beautiful, you've got to try them to know!

And for my final card, I did some stamp masking with my Misti and this beautiful Devoted kit. Then I colored the background and the houses with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks (Have you noticed that they are my favorites now?)
Then I used my Misti to do some stamping on the vellum. The magnets that comes with my Misti, helped in anchoring the paper down and making sure it stays put when I stamp to emboss. Seriously, what would I do without my Misti? I then embossed it with some Ranger super fine detailed embossing powder in Gold (another of my favorite!)
I hope that you found the quick tip videos to be helpful and Thank YOU for stopping by!
Don't forget --- everyone who leaves a comment on all the blogs in the hop will go into a drawing for 3 prize packs from Unity and winner's choice of an Original or Mini MISTI. Please leave a comment by May 30th at noon (CST) to be eligible. Winners will be posted on both the Unity and the My Sweet Petunia blogs on May 31st.
