Spring + Paper Flower Tutorial
Although it's summer all year round here, many places are celebrating spring. Spring brings colors, life, energy, joy and lots of fun! Especially when it comes to scrappy scrappy.
Spring also means lots of flowers so today, I'd like to show you how to make some paper flowers using your scraps.
Yups! These are made from scraps. Here's how to make them.
1. Cut 2 pieces of 12"x1" patterned paper & punch a circle of the size that you like. Here I am using 1 1/2".
2. Then use your favorite border punch for the two strips of paper.
3. Put some adhesive on the back of the strips and begin your flower assembly by just going around the circle piece - folding as you go.
4. Finish the flower with a pearl (or any embellies that you like)!
Now you don't have to throw away those scraps that you have and start making some flowers :) If you want a smaller flower, punch out a smaller circle base and you can even use just one strip of paper.
I made a card just for Spring and embellished it with one of the paper flowers I made. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Party All day set.
Have a great weekend ahead!
