Happy May!

The past few months had been crazy to say the least. With lockdowns, quarantines, social distancing -  it is all our new "normal". The current state of the world really changed the way we do things everyday, but hey - let's just stay positive, keep calm and craft on! :) I hope you are safe and healthy too.

Unity Stamp has a BIG red rubber release today because it is their BIRTHDAY !

I have made a few cards with it the new releases but ..

So, if you're just into sentiments - this new kit called "Having Hope" is perfect for you. I paired the sentiment with the Unity Thermoweb toner card front "Heart Trees" - which I have watercolored it first then foiled it with some gold DecoFoil.

Next card, again using the same sentiment kit - I embossed the background with "Get lost in the stars" stamp set with Brutus Monroe gilded sparkle embossing powder. Then I inked it up with Tim Holtz distress oxide inks and splattered some white ink to create stars.

Next up are TWO brand new stamp sets called "A Faithful Letter {scripty background}" and "One of those people". I absolutely loved how these two sets can compliment one another. I kept the background plain (just black and white) because I wanted the flowers to pop! I colored the flowers with copic markers and tried mixing colors together to get the extra pop.

And finally, "Possible Not Easy" is this cute stamp with flowers and a frame. I added some Unity Stamp papers in the background and also some Glitterific paint for that extra bling.

First stamp is "Time to be Grateful". This stamp is just so cute! LOVE the girl - she's so cute, don't you think? I colored her with Copic markers and added some shine with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush markers. For the pink hearts, I used distress oxide inks with Unity's "Love Confetti" stencil. 

Yes, let us remind ourselves to be grateful and count our blessings today. Treasure this time to rest and spend time with your family. :)

Next up is "Quarantine Dream". This stamp is SO CUTE, I kinda wished they had a version with dogs. Nonetheless, this is super cute and YESSSS, this is indeed a stamp perfect for all the pet owners out there. I am certain our pets (or fur kids) are so happy at this time because they are with us every single day. 

I colored the stamp with copic markers and added some Nuvo jewel drops. For the background, I used Unity + Deco Foil toner card front  "Floral background" with some distress oxide inks to create a rainbow background.

Next up is "There will be Sunshine". YESSSS. Don't lose faith. Don't give up. Today may be tough, but there will be sunshine (and a rainbow too!). I colored this up with copic markers but added some glittery shine to their dresses with sakura jelly roll moonlight pens. These markers are just amazing!

And finally, "Faith not fear" is just perfect for this season. Let us encourage one another at this difficult time and let us continue to hold on to our faiths and that things will be better soon.

I colored her with my Tombow markers and added some Nuvo drops for the dimension. For the background I used a WRMK embossing folder to create the diamond effect.

So, whilst we can stay at home, let us forget about our worries and color away! :)

It is NOVEMBER.

For my first card, I used this beautiful Unity Stamp "Angel of trust". Isn't she just lovely? I stamped her on some Strathmore toned tan paper and colored her up using my Prismacolor colored pencils. I love how the colors look so vibrant on kraft paper! A very very simple and easy card to make. Simply stamp and color :)

Next up is  the Unity Stamp "Sienna Girl". She looked so cool to me, I had to create a cool background to match her. I first inked up the background using Tim Holtz distress oxide inks, then stamped some strips using the Unity Stamp Ann Butler stamps. Then it's time to emboss with Tim Holtz stencil and some WOW embossing powder.

Next is the lovely Unity Stamp "Jess Girl". You know how I love my rainbows - so I lined up all my Tim Holtz alcohol pearl inks and just went rainbow-nuts with them. Trick to blend these inks is to use some Yupo paper and alcohol blending solution. I also used the Tim Holtz spritzer (which blows air) to move my inks around. You could also use a straw. Then I punched lots of butterflies out using my Martha Stewart butterfly punch and just adhered them across my card to create some dimension.

And finally, I made a card using the cuties from the Unity Stamp "Holiday Helpers". Since there is a boy/girl version - I had to use them both! So I created a simple spinner card using some Trendy Twine Christmas mint and decorated the card with Unity Stamp sequins and Unity Stamp Red Christmas paper pack.

It's a fun one today because Unity Stamp is releasing some really cute Christmas stamps.

Christmas is so close, I could almost smell it. *haha*

For my first card, I wanted to create a rustic but colorful Christmas card using the wreath from Warmth of Christmas kit by Graciellie Designs. I colored it with Prismacolor colored pencils then tied it with some Trendy Twine "Peppermint Icicle" little bits.

For the background, I used Sweadda Weadda by Brutus Monroe, embossed it with some white embossing powder then spritzed it with some Ranger Dylusion ink sprays.

For my next holiday card, I wanted to create a really sparkly glittery card using the Holiday Hello by Tierra Jackson. So I cut out the stamp using a snowglobe die - if you don't have one, don't worry! Just use a circle die and cut off the ends OR cover it with some Prima snowflake paste, that looks like glittery snow when it is dried. I also used some Simon Says Stamp glitter cardstock and also added lots of pretty Cinderella Unity sequins.

For my final card, I wanted to create a fun background for the beautiful sentiment from the Joyous Comfort kit by Ann Butler. So I spritzed lots of Nuvo shimmer powders onto some watercolor cardstock, then added a subtle pattern with my Tim Holtz stencil using some Gina K glitz glitter gel. If you wanted a more "popping" design, you could always use a brighter color :)

For my first card, I wanted to try something different so I combined a shadow box with a shaker card. I used Unity Stamp Entanglement border background stamp and colored it with - Jane Davenport watercolors. Then I adhered the Unity Stamp Little Boos cuties with some foam adhesive to pop them up! 

So, because I popped them up, this means my shaker window needs to be popped up too. I added 4 layers of foam adhesive to create the shadow box. I cut the silver glitter foam frame out using Kat Scrappiness nesting rectangle die and filled it up with Kat Scrappiness Boo Who sequins and Pretty Pink Posh beads.

I think this would be fun not just as a card, but also as a decor for your Halloween party :)

Next up is this cute Unity Stamp Lisa Glanz Salutation Toad kit. I wanted to give him a fun holographic background so I covered the Unity Stamp Brutus Monroe Heart Swirls with some WOW embossing silver glitter powder. To add more bling, I used my new Tonic Studios Nuvo Dream Drops and just created some random drops in the swirls.

And for my last card for the day, it's another cute one by Unity Stamp Lisa Glanz Snailed it. To create the fun background for the snails, I first inked up the background with Tim Holtz distress oxide inks. Then I added some Decofoil transfer gel using TCW stencils. Once the gel is dried, I ran some Decofoil flock transfer sheets through my Heidi Swapp mini minc machine. I also added some pebbles using the new Tonic Studios nuvo stone drops. They feel just like stone!

For my first card, I used the new Lisa Glanz "Hoppy and Hedgie" set. These critters are so cute, don't you think? I colored them with Copic markers, then it's time to ink up the background using some Tim Holtz distress oxide ink [tumbled glass] and blended it with my makeup blending brush.

Then, it's time to add some foil to the balloons WITHOUT using a laminator. I used my favorite Thermoweb decofoil [rainbow shattered glass, sparkling silver] and with my Zig 2 way glue pen. Just apply the adhesive, let it dry for a few seconds before you apply the foil.

Since it's birthday week, OF COZ there will be a cute birthday stamp :)

Here is the brand new Unity Stamp "Happy Birthday to you", which I colored with some pastel rainbow Copic markers. 

To create this very easy slider card, I cut the slit using the Lawn Fawn Slide on Over die, applied some foam tape to a coin and it's that easy! :)

For my next card, I used the Unity Stamp "Grow and Change" and colored her and the flowers with Copic markers. Then I wanted to do some partial embossing using Unity Stamp Brutus Monroe "Sweadda Weadda". Love how "festive" stamps can also be used on non-holiday cards :) 

I first masked my card using Thermoweb purple tape, then embossed the stamp with Versamark embossing ink and some clear embossing powder. Then it's time to ink it up! I used Tim Holtz distress oxide inks [cracked pistachio, peacock feathers, wilted violet] and a makeup blending brush.

For my next card, I wanted to give Unity Stamp "Pretty Girl Smile" a spotlight effect to just focus on her. So I created the spotlight with Thermoweb purple tape and lots of yummy Tim Holtz distress oxide inks [squeezed lemonade, weathered wood, iced spruce, hickory smoke, black soot]. I also stamped the sides using Unity Stamp "Just a little clicky". It's an oldie but goodie stamp :)

And since Mother's Day is almost here, this new Unity Stamp "Best part of me" is just perfect for the day. I colored it with Copic markers then created an easy shaker card using a rectangle Kat Scrappiness nesting die, laminate, foam tape and lots of beautiful Unity Stamp sequins.

Have you heard? 

Unity Stamp & Gina K teamed up to create the famous wreath builder stamps - in red rubber!

Seriously, if you've not tried these wreath builder stamps and templates, you got to give it a go.

Here are some cards I made using the "Circle of Friendship" stamps, along with my Misti and Altenew dye inks. The possibilities are just endless!

For my first card, I used mainly the florals in the stamp set, and added the leaves and butterfly. Having a stamping platform really helps with the process and accuracy. Just by using the wreath builder template, you just stamp - move - stamp - move... and before you know it, there is your custom wreath! I also added some rhinestones, because you know I love my bling. :)

For my next card, I used mainly the leaves to build the wreath. The Unity Stamp set also came with some circle stamps and beautiful sentiments, which I embossed with silver and gold. And if you noticed, I did not use a 4x4 cardstock, but a smaller version cardstock of an A2 size. Yups! It works too :) At the bottom of the card, I stamped some butterflies and also added some Glitterific paint along the border.
