Today is Cyber Monday.

After Thanksgiving and all the crazy Black Friday shopping, it's time to relax and shop again! :)

For my first card, I am using "Shiloh Girl" and I wanted to create a zen looking background for her - so I decided to use something different: tissue papers! You know how some Asian stores/homes has those string/beaded curtains? Well - that was what I was going for. I paired the tissue papers with the "Pink & Blue watercolored" paper by Unity Stamp.

Next up is this new "Knitwear" stamp set -  I love all the winter holiday clothings in this set! I wanted to make as though it is hanging out in the laundry to dry, so I used some Trendy Twine to make that happen. I also added some paper flowers to all the knitwear, so it would look more festive (and I had these flowers forever, so it was time to use them up! Oops). For the background, I also used some Unity Stamp papers - they are just so beautiful, don't you think?

This new Phyllis Harris stamp set "Special to me" is so cute, I am just going "awwwwwww".... I colored her with some Copics and fussy cut around her before adding some beautiful Unity Stamp papers from the "Coffee Lovers" pack. OBSESSED!

And finally, this cutie snowman from the "All the small things" set with all the cute birdies - Gosh, what else need I say? I had to create a framed shaker card for this little guy, using the Avery Elle framed die and silver metallic paper. I added lots and lots of sequins and glitter and there you go - and easy shaker card! If you made a boo boo like me, no worries - just grab some Nuvo glitter drops and add some onto the border - and it's all ready to go! :)

It's October, but it's never too early to start making some Christmas cards for your loved ones (before it reaches the 11th hour *haha*)

Unity Stamp released some REALLY awesome new STAMPS and PAPERS (yups!!!) - all Christmas themed. IF you haven't get started on your cards yet, do not worry. These supplies will come to the rescue!

For my first card, you know how I LOVEEEE my rainbows and glitters, so this is just an "Angeline card" :) For the background, I am using the Unity Stamp Brutus Monroe background stamp "Freshly Cut" and I embossed it with some Stampendous Stamp n Bond embossing powders. Then I grabbed my favorite Decofoil rainbow shattered foil to foil it up. If you didn't notice, I made a boo boo and the trees kinda looked over-foiled. Honest trust, I almost trashed the card, but I thought, hey,.... my mess can be called art :) So, I added the Unity Stamp Ann Butler sentiment from her kit "More sparkle, less stress" and kept the card. Let's see who will be the lucky one to receive this :)

Next, I wanted to just create - you know what I mean? Sometimes, we often times just keep using the same supplies over and over again. So, this time, I challenged my self and just took out a bunch of my supplies (some was in my stash for years!) and see what I could just make. The focal point of my card would be Unity Stamp Ann Butler sentiment from the kit "More sparkle, less stress" - so I placed that inside a frame, which I had painted with some metallic paint. Then, I just added Tim Holtz collage paper [aviary], Prima flowers and added some bling with some Nuvo glitter drops. I think it turned out very different from the cards I usually make.

And now for some cutesie card - this "Santa and the Mrs" stamp by Unity Stamp Tierra Jackson is so darn cute!! I colored it with copic markers and die cut it using Kat Scrappiness square postage stamp die. Then I used the BRAND NEW papers by Unity Stamp Gracillie Design for my background and added some Trendy Twine to tie it all together. I absolutely LOVE these new papers, they are just so pretty! They are 6x6, glossy finish cardstock and you can get them at Unity Stamp.

Now, for another cutie - this cute elf is from the "Joy and Blessings" kit by Unity Stamp Angie Blom. I wanted to create a Christmasy scene for him so I did it using Tim Holtz stencils (mini set 21), distress oxide inks and added some Thermoweb Gina K Designs glitz glitter gel (white).

And finally, this cute couple from the "Deck the Halls" kit by Unity Stamp Angie Blom. I wanted to create a fun background for them, since the stamp is huge and almost filling up the entire card, I didn't want the background to be too crazy. So I got my alcohol inks and yupo paper, and added a final touch to it using my Tim Holtz frosted film for that added sparkle. This would be great for those who loves glitter but don't want it sticking to you or everything else around you :)

For my first card, I wanted to create a rustic but colorful Christmas card using the wreath from Warmth of Christmas kit by Graciellie Designs. I colored it with Prismacolor colored pencils then tied it with some Trendy Twine "Peppermint Icicle" little bits.

For the background, I used Sweadda Weadda by Brutus Monroe, embossed it with some white embossing powder then spritzed it with some Ranger Dylusion ink sprays.

For my next holiday card, I wanted to create a really sparkly glittery card using the Holiday Hello by Tierra Jackson. So I cut out the stamp using a snowglobe die - if you don't have one, don't worry! Just use a circle die and cut off the ends OR cover it with some Prima snowflake paste, that looks like glittery snow when it is dried. I also used some Simon Says Stamp glitter cardstock and also added lots of pretty Cinderella Unity sequins.

For my final card, I wanted to create a fun background for the beautiful sentiment from the Joyous Comfort kit by Ann Butler. So I spritzed lots of Nuvo shimmer powders onto some watercolor cardstock, then added a subtle pattern with my Tim Holtz stencil using some Gina K glitz glitter gel. If you wanted a more "popping" design, you could always use a brighter color :)

Starting off with a colorful thanksgiving card and a rainbow turkey. The new "Frondescence" background is so pretty, you could use it for many kinds of cards. I colored them up using Jane Davenport mermaid markers - I just love how vibrant the colors are. 

For the Cuddlebug Turkey, I colored it with copic markers and I just had to make him "fly". I die cut a slider slit using the Lawn Fawn "slide on over" die cut set and wa-la... he's flying!! :)

From thanksgiving, we go to  Christmas with this beautiful "All that sparkles" stamp. I colored her with copic markers, added some sparkle with Spectrum Noir pens. For the background, I used Newton's Nook Designs "argyle stencil" set with Tim Holtz distress oxide inks. They are just so perfect together! Oh, and I used a small makeup blending brush to get into the tight corners.

WOW. 2017 just went by in a breeze and here we are -- 2018!

Now onto a festive happy card for the New Year!

For today's card, I am using the Mama Elephant "Party Animals" set. This set is way cute and I absolutely had to get it! It's perfect for all kinds of parties so this set can be used over and over again. I stamped and colored the animals with Copic markers and arranged it over my rainbow background -- which I have inked it up using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks. I also die cut the striped background with My Favorite Things "Bold Stripes" die. And last but not least, some sequins from Kat Scrappiness.

Snow much fun! :)

Recently I got this Newtons Nook Designs stamp called "Frozen Fellowship". Like seriously, how could I have resisted getting this? This is SO CUTE! *love*!

This stamp set is awesome to fill up the entire card if you need some last-minute cards and don't have to over-think on the overall design.

So after I stamped and colored the snowmen with Copic markers, I just added a border of Prima Glass Glitter [sterling] using Thermoweb mixed media adhesive. I also die cut some snowflakes with some silver glitter foam and added a large bling on it. The sentiments are combined from two other NND sets: All Aboard for Christmas & Snow Day.

I recently got my first ever Simon Says Stamp December card kit: Milk & Cookies (which is sold out now) and it has so many cute stuff in it!! 

The Christmas Squad stamp set is just so cute, I had to fit all of it on my card! I stamped and colored it with Copic markers. Pssttt, did you notice Santa is drinking a coffee latte instead? *haha*!

The cute papers I used is the Doodlebug Milk & Cookies & Tonic Tropical Tide glitter cardstock. It is so glittery and pretty!

Now onto my winter card! :)

I used lots of Sweet Stamp Shop stamps for this card, and as you can see, not everything was meant to be for Christmas but I had this idea to make a Christmas Winter Wonderland card .. so here it is!

The Sweet Shoppe stamp is just a fun Christmas must-have stamp! It could be used for any season of the year, and here I made a colorful rainbow Christmas drink (coffee/tea/chocolate -- pick your favorite!).

Then for my Christmas Winter Wonderland, I added the Pure Imagination set. Psssttt, does it kinda reminds you of a famous childhood character? It's up to your imagination here! :) I love the huge candies, so I decorated it everywhere!!

For the background of the card, I used Tim Holtz distress oxide ink [salty ocean] and Jane Davenport's Paint over Pen to dot the snow out. This pen is just awesome!
