I combined the mail drop box card and the Bee-mine card and made it one! :) Coz both were just great I couldn't pick one haha.

I decided to keep the colors simple and make the focal point (the bee) stand out more. I am loving just how cute the bee looks! I also added some glitter to his wings.

It's been some time since I made something, so this week's Inspiration Time at The Cutting Cafe is churning my creative juices for a lovey dovey Valentine card.

I made a window shaker card using the Everyday Word Windows & Shakers Set 1 with the word LOVE.

Just add some sequins and pretty paper, and you got a shaker card --- ready to go!

I know I've not been posting that frequently recently... so I'm back with a fun Inspiration Time with The Cutting Cafe.

This week we are using the BIG Expressions kits and this Sweet Big Expression Printable & Cutting File is just perfect for Valentine.

So, the fun part about this file is, I made 3 cards from just 1 cut! 

Talk about saving time :)

Perfect for those of us who are busy but need multiple cards.

So, here's how I did it.

First I cut the SWEET word on a white cardstock. 

Using the "blanks" as a see through, I backed it with some sweet pink Crate Paper patterned papers from the Hello Love collection. Then I just added another patterned paper along with some pearls using my Viva Decor paper pen.

For my next card, I used the letters that were cut from my first card as a mask. I adhered it using some temporary adhesive and inked the background with some Tim Holtz distress ink {abandoned coral & picked raspberry}. Then I removed the mask and revealed the white words! :)

And for my final card, I used the words from my second card which acted as a mask as the letters instead! Since it's all inked up nicely, it makes a sweet ombre effect on a simple background with heart stamps from The Ton.

Christmas is over and New Year is here ... what's next?

For this week's Inspiration Time at The Cutting Cafe Blog it's all about Valentine.

So I made this cute trio card using the Heart Trio card set and some Elle's Studio papers.

When the card is all folded up, you can see a peek through the heart window of a pair of love birds -- which I have printed from the Valentine Animals and Bugs printable set and the bubble sentiment is from the Animal and Bug Love printable set. I've also decorated the heart with some Stickles in Ruby Slippers.

When the card is open, you can see the tri fold panels which is perfect to write a love note.

For the other sentiments, I printed them from the Fun with Valentine's Day printable set. 

It's never too early to start making your Valentine's Day cards, so get lovey dovey and start creating! :)

It's Inspiration Time at The Cutting Cafe and this time, I made some mini love notes in a box using these kits:

Fun with Valentine's Day printable stamp set

I printed the love notes out in a stack and tied them up together using some Trendy Twine in "strawberry cupcake".

I also printed the LOVE word using the printable stamp set and put two cute bird stickers as in love birds... get it? Hahaha.

The cut out from the crayon box set would be great to have a peek on what's inside the box ;)

Valentine's Day was quite recent and it's a great time to start preserving those precious memories. Using Scrap-n-Crop's Valentine Embellishment kit, I made a layout with it.

The background paper is from Elle's Studio (not part of the kit) whilst the rest are everything from the kit! I did not include a photo in my layout but hey - it's OK. :) Art has no rules. Just go with what you feel like creating!

I've also did some droplets on the background using some Heidi Swapp spritz mist {Primrose} and I stamped the "Cherish" stamp in some Distress Ink {Spun Sugar}

Also, I added some foam adhesive to add some layers and dimension to my layout.
