First stamp is "Time to be Grateful". This stamp is just so cute! LOVE the girl - she's so cute, don't you think? I colored her with Copic markers and added some shine with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush markers. For the pink hearts, I used distress oxide inks with Unity's "Love Confetti" stencil. 

Yes, let us remind ourselves to be grateful and count our blessings today. Treasure this time to rest and spend time with your family. :)

Next up is "Quarantine Dream". This stamp is SO CUTE, I kinda wished they had a version with dogs. Nonetheless, this is super cute and YESSSS, this is indeed a stamp perfect for all the pet owners out there. I am certain our pets (or fur kids) are so happy at this time because they are with us every single day. 

I colored the stamp with copic markers and added some Nuvo jewel drops. For the background, I used Unity + Deco Foil toner card front  "Floral background" with some distress oxide inks to create a rainbow background.

Next up is "There will be Sunshine". YESSSS. Don't lose faith. Don't give up. Today may be tough, but there will be sunshine (and a rainbow too!). I colored this up with copic markers but added some glittery shine to their dresses with sakura jelly roll moonlight pens. These markers are just amazing!

And finally, "Faith not fear" is just perfect for this season. Let us encourage one another at this difficult time and let us continue to hold on to our faiths and that things will be better soon.

I colored her with my Tombow markers and added some Nuvo drops for the dimension. For the background I used a WRMK embossing folder to create the diamond effect.

So, whilst we can stay at home, let us forget about our worries and color away! :)

For my first card, I used this sweet new kit "Showing up Gnome" by Tierra Jackson. I colored them up with my Copic markers and die cut the edges using Kat Scrappiness Cross Stitched Rectangle Die.

Then I thought I should add a little interest to the card by doing some partial metallic embossing by using Darice border embossing folder "Flourishes" and some Tonic Studios Nuvo Mousse  [Lemon Sorbet / Coral Calypso]. It's pretty easy to do, trust me! Just watch my video and you can try it out too :)

I also used some of my Trendy Twine [Strawberry Cupcake] to just add more color to my card, coz there's nothing wrong with beautiful colors right? *hehe*

For my next card, I couldn't resist playing with this new stamp "Lift me up Birdies" by Tierra Jackson. They are so cute and fluffy!! *IT'S SO FLUFFY* [If anyone watched Despicable Me you'd know this line hehe]

So I thought of doing a metallic sunburst with my new Tim Holtz Mini stencil set #5 and some Tonic Studios Nuvo Mousse [Lilac Lavender/ Aquamarine / Cornflower Blue]. I used a stencil brush to apply it, easy peezy! I love how creamy the mousse is and it does dry fairly instantly too.

I know it's the new year already, but this new "3 Snowbuddies" stamp set by Tierra Jackson is too cute not to play with! Don't you think the snowman are just sooooo adorable? I stamped and colored them with my Copic markers, then I decided to do an "icicle" "winter wonderland" kinda background for my card. So, why not create my own 3D Glitter paper, right? :)

I took some blue American Craft cardstock and sprayed it with lots and lots of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist [Dazzling Diamonds]. Once it is dried, I ran it through my Sizzix Big Shot with the WRMK Next Level embossing folder [Gemstone]. Just check out the cool effect!

And for my final card, I used the new Unity Stamp 01/18 KOM "Twinkle" and my painted the entire scene with my American Crafts Creative Devotion Pastel Gel Crayons. These gel crayons are so pretty in color and it can be used in many ways. Here, I am painting it directly to my card. If  you prefer a more blended look, you can smudge some onto your palette/craft mat and pick it up with your waterbrush.

The fist card I made using Unity Stamp's Holiday Delivery stamp. Don't you think this stocking image is just so beautiful?

 

I stamped and colored the stocking with my Copic markers. Then I ran the cardstock through my Sizzix Big shot machine along with the WRMK Next Level embossing folder - to give an extra pop to the card. Then I added some Christmas tree washi tape along the borders :)

For my holiday tags, I used the Pretend you like this kit 

 

I stamped the sentiments onto some white cardstock and took out my Prima Color Bloom mist sprays and just spritzed all the tags in one go! Easy peezy! :) 

Once the tags were dried, I punched a hole on each tag and just added some ribbons.

Hello and happy weekend!

It's ALMOST New Year and today is the EVE -- where we will be having reunion meals with our family. 

I made a few cards using Mama Elephant's cute lunar animals and extras stamp set. It was too cute to resist and just perfect for Chinese New Year cards!

For my first card, I wanted to fit all 12 zodiac animals on it but couldn't (haha!) so I did 3 animals instead. The previous year was the Year of the Ram (sheep), this year in gold is the Monkey and for next year it's the Chicken. Hence, why these 3 animals were picked :)

I added the Chinese hat and angpow (red packet) for the monkey and added some gold glitter cardstock to highlight him, since it is his year after all :)

I also gold embossed the 福 word in gold (which means good fortune/luck).

For my next cards,  I created a scene using the fortune cat and the monkey again -- plus lanterns, firecrackers, cherry blossoms and more! I colored each of it using my Copic markers, then cut out each element and pieced them together. (Thank God for Silhouette PixScan) 

Took me some time, but I liked how it turned out!

For the backgrounds, I used the WRMK Next Level embossing folders which are AMAZING if you see it in real. The dimensions are just WOW! I also added some Gold glitter Viva Decor to add to the shine.

And I can't seem to get enough of these lunar animals, I made another card!
