For my first card, I stamped and colored the "Winter Bunny Cuddlebug" with copic markers and decided to do a snowy background for him. Since I didn't have any snowflake stencil, I made my own DIY stencil with just cardstock and snowflake dies. You could always use paper punch also!

With the stencil, I inked the snowflakes using Tim Holtz distress oxide ink [Broken China] and added Glitterific paints, coz glitter always make everything better :)

For my next card, I used "Santa's Lil Helper Cuddlebug" and just did some basic coloring using Prismacolor colored pencils. In the video, I show how to blend the colors and add shading. I also added Unity stamp Ariel sequins.

And for my last card, this "Christmoose Cuddlebug" will surely bring a smile to anyone's face. He is just so cute!! I colored him with colored pencils and added Tonic Studios Nuvo Jewel drops for the baubles. For the background, I layered Tim Holtz stencil set #20 with some Distress Oxide inks [Antique linen, Evergreen Bough, Candied Apple].

Today Unity Stamp is releasing SO many NEW stamps...I can't even keep up! *hehe*

Well, today I am showcasing Phyllis Harris new stamps so keep reading if you love her illustrations. You will LOVE her new stamps!

For my first card, I stamped the "Every Leaf Speaks Bliss" on some Strathmore Toned Tan paper (kraft) then painted it in using Holbein gouache paints. I love these paints because you can control how opaque it will look on your paper. The more water you add, the more translucent it will be (like watercolors) and the lesser water you add, it will be opaque. I also added some Unity Stamp Aurora sequins to bling it up :)

Next, this cute kit "It's Your Day Panda" is just wayyy adorable. I stamped and colored in using some Copics then added the Avery Alle Wonky Scalloped Frame. Since I am obsessed with Unity Stamp sequins, I added a whole bunch of them on the border using my Thermoweb Mixed Media adhesive. Just alternate the different sizes to create more interest.

And for my final card, I stamped and colored the "Be the light" kit with Copics, creating that candle glow. Then I die cut my front piece using MFT Stamps Bold Stripes cover up die,  placed lots of foam adhesive on the back to prep it for my shaker card.

Then it's time for the fun part! I added lots of American Crafts WOW glitter, in rainbow colors. What I love about these glitters are, it comes not only with different colors but also differnt particle sizes. Of coz, you can use whatever glitters that you have!

For my first card, I am using the new "Crafty Little Elf". She is so darn cute, don't you think? I made her table bigger by just drawing a longer line. Then I added more accessories for her using the "Planner Gal" kit. Then I colored with Copics and fussy cut her because I wanted the background to show.

I ran some gold foil through my Big Shot using the Sizzix Tim Holtz embossing folder "December Calendar & Holiday Words". I absolutely loved how it turned out! Finally, I added the sentiment from the KOM 10/16.

My next card, I stamped the "Butterfly Embellies", colored them with my Spectrum Noir metallic pens and fussy cut them out.

Now, it's time for the fun rainbow background! I've seen so many paint smear/smoosh/spread/schmear videos on Instagram that I had to try it out for myself! I used Tim Holtz Distress paints [Broken China/Twisted Citron/Mustard Seed/Spiced Marmalade/Picked Raspberry] and added some Tim Holtz distress stickles glitter [Clear Rock Candy], then just spread it out like buttercream on a cake! :) Once the paint is dry, just pop the butterflies with some glue pop dots.

I only have two cards for today, but hey, I hope you're inspired to create some cards on your own!

For my first card, I am using the "So Grateful" kit by Lisa Glanz, isn't the girl just so pretty and how cute is that dog? 

I wanted to create a scene for her, like she's walking her dog in her neighborhood - so I inked up some clouds in the background using Simon Says Stamp stencil {Cloud for Days} and Tim Holtz Distress Oxide {Tattered Rose}.  I also added the Lawn Fawn Picket Fence Border die.

For the sentiment, I created the border using the "Rectangle Scalloped", stamping it with some Delicata Golden Glitz ink, then fussy cutting it.

Next is this cute "Tuxedo Bunny", which I colored with Copic markers then "masked" it using Nuvo Cyrstal Glaze. I love this glaze! Once it's dried, it's time to create the rainbow dotted background with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks {Picked Raspberry/Squeezed Lemonade/Cracked Pistachio/Wilted Violet/Broken China}. I also added some Nuvo drop {Simply White}.

This next set "Fall Breeze Bright Leaves" is just SOOO cute, I LOVE it so so much! 

I colored the background using Prima Pastel Dream Watercolors and also added some Unity Stamp Aurora Sequins.

For the bunny, I decided to pop him up on a DIY action wobble I made so that he can go "boing boing boing" :)

And now, time for some Christmas card!

This cute kit "Snow, Snow Cute" is just too adorable not to get. I stamped both the snowman on a piece of cardstock and cut in so that it is in one piece. Before adhering them down, I added some "snow" in the background using Tim Holtz Stencil and Distress Oxide ink {Broken China}.

After adhering the snowman, snowflake and sentiment on my card, it's time to add some glittery snow using Nuvo Glimmer Paste {Moonstone}. I also added some Unity Stamp Aurora Borealis sequins to the glimmer paste (while it is still wet).

 This next Christmas kit "Twas the Night" has got to be my FAVORITE! It looked like they are home, just decorating the tree for Christmas, so I watned to create a fun background for them.

I added a thin layer of the Nuvo Glimmer Paste {Moonstone} to my card with my TCW Stencil {Bricks}. Now, it's time to create some custom colored glimmer paste using Dylusions ink {Vibrant Turquoise/London Blue}. You can also use watercolors, distress inks, color burst... anything that you have!

Finally, I added some Nuvo Drop {Bright Gold} to the ornaments on the tree.

This next kit "Wonderland" features another cute snowman and birdie and I wanted a Winter Wonderland shimmery background for my card. I grabbed my Gina K Designs Fancy Foils {Sparkling Silver} and using my Thermoweb Tape Runner XL to add the foil to my card WITHOUT any laminator/foiling machines! So cool right?

I wanted a fun background for him, so I used some of my scrap Amy Tangerine Patterned Papers, cut them into 0.5" strips and weaved them all together! Watch the video and see how easy it is! :)

For my first card, I used the new "Sweetness" kit which is SOOO pretty, right? I colored them with Copic markers and added some glitter with Spectrum Noir metallic pens. Then it's time to do some ink smooshing!

I know some of us (I do too!) have issues with ink blending and getting everything to look smooth, so this technique would help. Just grab a transparency/plastic packaging, smoosh some inks on it (I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks - Squeezed Lemonade, Worn Lipstick, Shaded Lilac & Picked Raspberry), spritz some water on it and SMOOSH! Yups, that simple :) I also added my all-time-favorite Unity Stamp Cinderella sequins

For my second card, I used the "Stay Strong" kit with this beautiful coffee cup. I added the flower and heart (also from the same kit) to the cup; which I colored with Copic markers. Now it's time for the Galaxy Sky! 

I used the Nuvo Shimmer Powder [Violet Brocade and Atlantis Burst] and added Unity Stamp Ariel sequins. Watch the video and you'll be surprised how easy it can be with these powders :)
